I can't believe that all those people didn't buy a song that simon cowell told them to – they bought another song that someone else told them to instead. That's really rebellious.

I live in st helens so I use the shop all the time, great staff and excellent prices. But like everyone else I have never dealt with them online. I would use the online shop if I moved though, so give them a go.

Thanks all. I picked up the controls today, I'd sooner go a bit slower than have to stop for a pinch flat in this weather.

Bad idea. I would be very concerned about all that weight up there as conservatories aren't designed to take any stuctural loads, they are only plastic. (if someone tells you that they have a steel support rail in them, beware, those rails stop about 4 inches from any welded joint, ie top and bottom of each upright)

Saw the Macc Lads in Widnes many years ago, we were all stage diving until i found a small gap in the crowd. Concussion and temporary deafness for the next few days were to follow. Back to the point – Elvis and The Cramps for me.

I have 3 kids also, and i have a renault grand scenic, and this is perfect for us. 3 full seats in the back (all will take a child seat), with 2 extra in the back for the occasional friend coming for tea. Plus you can slide the middle row of seats forwards and back, and also take them completely out for a huge van like space for days out for 2 people with bikes (inside vehicle, deadlocked and alarmed) and bags, clothes, kit etc. What you can also do with the scenic, which others in its class can't do, is to remove say, the left hand rear seat and fold down the passenger seat to fit in 4 people and long packages/ skis etc. on the left hand side.

I have both the altura attack 3/4 shorts and trousers. I have used the 3/4s for a few seasons and got on fine with them, and yes, you do get water running down your shins into your shoes, even good waterproof ones. Recently though i got the full trousers to get over this problem, and with the straps at the bottom pulled tight over the tops of my mw80s i now have dry feet on my rides. I have never had any problems with my chain rubbing the trousers though. One word of caution though with either is that if you walk/ride through deep puddles/rivers etc. and your feet get totally submerged they get wet anyway. The only other thing to consider is the temperature of your legs inside as they are obviously less ventilated than normal shorts, so i now wear the 3/4s in warm summer rain and the full trousers in cold winter rain. So, you just need to decide wich will suit the conditions you ride in the best.
