    How about Kore.
When I was a kid everyone at the local trails/dirt jumps had Kore Saddles/stems/seatposts.
I’ve not seen any of their components since.

There’s a few big names missing from the test. Some of bikes on the list seem a bit random and make me wonder if there was some financial incentive behind them being picked.
Why the nomad? For true Enduro shouldn’t it be the Bronson?

The Bird is definitely a better spec if £1500 is your budget.
You could always ask Ben@Bird to send it to you unbuilt. He could trim the steerer and fit the headset/bb and trim/bleed the brakes. Then you can put it together like lego. It’ll be a good experience!

    29er fastest overall
26er fastest on descents (but takes more arm movement)
27.5 fastest at nothing… perfect compromise and makes the trails come alive

    8)

    Edit: beaten to it!

Just playing around with builds. The 13 still isn’t bad value for Revs and X01.

    Normally goes like this;
Cost of bike > -50% > -10% every year after that.

The bike is still overpriced. It’s a MY ’13.

    Pffttt.. the trail erosion

Chris and Joe are probably my favorite riders but that annoyed me. Rear wheel locked for most of that video.

For sake of £400 I’d prefer the better drivetrain, wheels, brakes & newer 130mm forks. Depends what budget the OP has.

    Yup, Brant’s new project.
There’ll be three Ti bikes in the current line up.
The one pictured is the mountain bike version, not the rigid bikepacking one.
(bonus point’s if you’ve worked out where this photos from)

Looks great! Must have taken ages. Especially with a box cutter.
Get yourself a scalpel and it’ll look even better.

Hope Pick ‘n Mix headsets are around £56[/url], plus fitting at an LBS of around £10-15. So if you do it yourself you save around £10. I’d pay the £75 to save the hassle and give Si the trade.

Halfords are normally generous with headset spacers. There is also the option of collecting the bike unbuilt in store. Just check the steerer before you pay.

I wouldn’t worry about cables. If the Cotic is the same size as the 13 it’ll be fine. Again, with the generous steerer you get slightly longer cables/hoses anyway.

    They have different headset

    > 13 – FSA Orbit C-40-ACB 1.5 Headset (No.42-ACB)

    > Cotic – 44mm cup lower, 34mm traditional standard upper

You could sell the PF30 X1 cranks and buy something ‘normal’. You may take a hit if you buy like for like but if you’re happy to settle for an XT with a N/W ring or similar, you’ll be alright.

I think you could easily get £100-150 for the frame with BB and headset. That’ll cover the Reverb. Make sure it’s a Medium.

You may need something like this
The standard Hope BB isn’t compatible with the PF30 crank.

Good idea! You should get a substantial saving over building up the equivalent Soul from parts.

Issues I can see are –
    > Crankset-he 13 is PF30 whereas the Cotic is a conventional 68/73mm threaded. You maybe able to use a Praxis adapter?
    > Headset- I think you may need a different one.

The rest should be good to go. Not sure how much you’ll be able to sell the 13 frame for though.

WTB Vigilante front/ Trail Boss Rear
    Would be my choice.

Interesting.. why do you spec all your bikes with the Maxxis then?

Butcher front and Purgatory rear from Specialized. Great combination IMHO.

Lovely bike. The M9000/20 stuff looks really nice.
The tech spec says that you can get the cranks in 104 bcd- does that mean you can run any rings you like?

My B+ has literally just arrived on my desk.
Is it worth sending back and changing for the 2?
This is my first venture into using the raspberry Pi.
If it won’t affect me while I learn I’d like to avoid the hassle/wait of swapping.

Love the finished look. How is the rear LED powered?
I might just look at building an MTB equivalent.

    Thread resurrection!
Looks like the starter kit is out of stock at Pimoroni.
Does anyone know of any starter kits available else where that contain the same bits? Otherwise, could some please help with specing up the equivalent kit?
