Never been but when I was lad and enjoyed my Cod fishing Dungie was one of the biggest iconic Cod venues in the country. Take your rod!

Thanks for the detailed answer Bens, very comprehensive. I’ll probably be riding mostly by myself so it will be a nice steady pace. Think I will see how it goes and maybe invest in a range extender at a later date if I need one for bigger days out

LBS has got a 2022 M20 Rise with the Shimano EP8 RS 360Wh  battery in at a decent price which I’m going to have a look at this week. Never had an Ebike before but these really appeal to me, so I was wondering what sort of mileage/ time will I get out of the battery. I’m 60kg and it’s mostly going to be NY Moors / Dales riding if that make any difference. Tia

Apparently they are stopping supporting the software on the older boxes so they may become a bit clunky to use.

Had the longest rumble of thunder here ( about 15 secs ) while I was in the shower, then I realised it was the wife bringing the wheelie bin in.

I used to work in a small shop that sold white goods many years ago and an old chap bought a microwave from us then brought it back about 6 months later saying it had stopped working. We had a look inside and there were lightening strike marks all over it and we asked him what had he been doing? He said it was working fine until he started drying his jeans in it!

Cleared cookies twice now, no difference, anything else I can do. It actually logged me out when I switched between chat and bike forum.

I’m having a problem on my iPad, keeps logging me out every time I come off the site even though I tick the box to stay logged in.  Never happened before in all the years I’ve been on here and it’s fine on my phone, any ideas? It’s really frustrating. Tia.

Years ago on here before the classifieds changed someone was selling some forks for £180 ono so I messaged him and offered £160. He got back to me saying he wouldn’t take less than £180. When I pointed out he’d put ono he said yes I know but I still want £180. Needless to say I didn’t buy them.

We had a spate of bike thefts in our village over the course of a month or so a few years ago. Eventually someone realised that all the bikes that were stolen came from a property that had a car in the drive with bike carriers fitted.

If you do get yourselves down to Spurn Point there is the old RAF underground bunker at Holmpton which only opens a couple of weeks a year during school holidays. Ive done some work there and it’s a very interesting place to visit for a couple of hours.

My ebiking mate does run a wee bit cold but even still he always has a minimum of 4 layers on and the top one is usually a waterproof walking coat. He has also been known to ride in a pair of Wellington boots as well.
Thankfully he’s usually that far in front people don’t realise he’s with us.

If you do go to Yearsley someone on their Facebook page had been last week and got about 20 ticks on him, so be aware of the little buggers.

Whats peoples thoughts on Mercedes Vitos? I’m going to be replacing my Nissan NV200 early next year so I’m starting my research early!

Yes Reynauds, I get it but never when I’m biking outside only when I’m Zwifting and the room is really cold.

I put my hands in the sink filled with warm water and after about 3 minutes my fingers go from white to black and tingle like hell then go back to normal colour.

@pisco thank your wife very much for that I shall have a good look later. I will have a word with the care home staff and see when the speech therapist is coming again and see if they can mention it and see if there is anything they can do for him.

Thanks for all the replies people, lots to go at there and I will check them out. To be fair his speech can be really good at times when he isn’t stressed ( that’s another story )  and you can have a semi decent conversation with him.
He struggles with names, places and dates and words with a few syllables. He was looking at a picture of a horse yesterday and he said to me that he couldn’t say Horse and didn’t realise he’d just said it perfect.
He knows what things are but just can’t get the words out and actually says that to me all the time.

Not heard of it but I’ve just ordered it on the strength of the recommendations. Sounds in similar vain to a book I read many years ago, The Adventures of Goodnight and Loving by Leslie Thomas, if you haven’t read it I highly recommend it.

I’ve ordered some Dodomat and some cheap stuff as well.
It’s my work van at present and I have a ladder rack on the top which gets a lot of wind noise so I’m going to do the roof and all the panels as well and the gaps on the floor in the cabin.
Hopefully I shall be retiring in a couple of years time so I may even do some insulation and carpeting as well.
