Sorry to come so late to the game, How is the Tudbuster treating you? The Vibe has been actually been around much longer than you think, you may find more information when you look for the USE shock post. ULTIMATE is the ‘new’ name for the USE hardware.

I have one fitted to my P7, its so subtle that its not till you ride a fixed post that you realise how much it actually does for the comfort of the ride. I believe the vibe is one of the lightest of it kind, and easiest to service too!

the thing that puts me off exposure lights is that it seems that almost every owner/commentator has had experience of their ‘aftersales’…

The Reson people have experience with ‘Aftersales’ is that rather than binning a chinese light and starting again, if something goes wrong they are just a call away in sussex where the lights are manufactured, and that carries on beyond the 2 year warranty.

Try the Exposure Sirius, for either bar or helmet, also sells as a kit with arguably the best rear light on the market at the moment!

the joystick and diabolo are worth a look too. great for commuting, ideal for towpaths and bridleways, Made in Sussex, great customer service track record! 2 year warranty with continued support for life

Had my eye on the bird zero to for a while now but sorely tempted by their new aeris 120 otherwise the orange p7 or alpine would be something of a dream…

Old commute was 4 miles that would be done in 10-20 mins all depending on wind, mood, motivation etc,

now commute is 10mi, average has raised to 15/16mph with a total climb of 650+

used to average 16mph+ over a standard 20-30mi ride when living in lancaster, the flat and slow grinders of the south are taking some getting used to!
