Ive got the enduro 29er in large, and find as good as the camber i had before for Xc and trail, and makes me a bit more braver on the downs.
you’re welcome to try it if you cant get a demo,im in wakefield

Op,i ve a enduro 29 and i havent really noticed much differnce to my previous specialized camber 26er In terms of “all day riding”
It climbs just as well, even better at technical climbing
its comfy to ride, and im much more confident on anything rocky coming down (Id normally be over the bars)
Its my only bike, and i chose it after trying a carbon hardtail and doing myself and the bike some damage.
the wife spotted it in a shop and said that it looked cocker proof,so i had a little ride and bought one.
i think it looks good as well

    Thanks

Ive got a 160mm specialized enduro 29er,and i find it better on anything technical as my skills are pants.its alot better a climbing than my preious bikes (specialized camber26 and clockwork 29)
We ride once or twice a week local xc stuff and ive not found any problems, and trial centres, gisburn/sherwood pines /stainburn,and i find it alot better all round.
i keep thinking about getting so something with less travel or a hardtail as a second bike, but not sure I’d use it,as i love my enduro

thanks for the advice, managed to get a couple of local rides in this week ,just local xc through the woods and and bridle ways.
i love it,can keep up with everybody, including the ones 20 years younger than me.
climbs easily as well as my previous 26 camber
very comfy and relaxed riding position.
handles really well through tight woodland, which i didn’t expect

i cant wait to get out again.

also a thank you to bike scene in guisborough for their help and service when buying from them

    thanks

the bike shop has only got a medium and cant get a 2014 model in large, but i had a sit on a 2015 650b enduro in large and didn’t feel any difference.

ive been riding a spesh camber 26″.
im more bothered about the damage to the front wheel,i didnt even come off that bad to be honest
i’d have been well f##ked off if i’d bought it.
not sure where i stand with the damage

ive just taken the loan bike out, found it very light and quick.
the steering is very twitchy downhill and this led me to go OTB resulting in snapped gear cables and a buckled front wheel.is this normal for this kind of bike?i wasnt going over fast and it wasnt very steep, ive also ridden this route plenty of times with no problems

ok,at the moment i have a carbon superfly hardtail on loan from the lbs, which is a cracking bike ,but not for me.
    i’ve made a bit of a shortlist,
scott genius 920 (2014) sale price
    scott genius 930 (2015)
    trek remedy 8/9 27.5 (2015)
    trek fuel 8(2015)

i’ve just missed out on a 2013 rumblefish

upto press ive tried the scott and the fuel which i both loved

anyone any input/experience of these,or any other suggestions?

    i’m looking around £2k

ernie thanks for the offer, but ideally id like to buy new,i am planning on having a look at the cannondale this week at big bear bikes.

njee, most of my riding is mainly xc around wakefeild/leeds/west yorkshire ,with trip off to dalby/gisburn etc once a month.
would you recommend the superfly for this?

    thanks

    cycletechnology in wakefield

never too busy for me,called in several times whilst out on a ride, and they’ve dropped what they’re doing to repair mine/put new part on,and just told me to drop the money in whenever.

they are however, causing me problems with mrs C,he keeps offering me a demo on a bike in the sale, and im very tempted

spoke to my mate with the tallboy,
his is not the long travel version,he;s got it to have a crack at endurance 12/24 hr stuff.
he suggested something like the specialized epic.
