The Hugo is most likely not the rim that you’ll want to use in this situation. That rim was designed as a fat bike specific rim with snow or sand riding in mind. It was not really intended for aggressive trail riding and would not hold up as well as some of our other options. You’ll probably be more interested in the Sentry, Baron, or Major which are meant specifically for Plus tires. Is there a particular tire width that you have in mind for putting on this new bike?
this is the reply from their tech guy

Thanks for the offers of the frames, but ideally id be after a complete bike,as I’m a hopeless mechanic.
im thinking that if im happy with the 26er,I’ll sell the scale and get a new one in either 26 or 650b

Ive got a scott scale 940 and me mate got the 950,can fault them, and i think they are on sale at the minute. Had a clockwork and liked that ,also demoed a superfly, the superfly and scale are very similar fast xc,the clockwork is more relaxed trail bike.all good bikes

    thanks for the replies,
just had a look at On-One,and you get a singlespeed kit with a cog and 2 spacers(16mm and 18mm i think) for £5.99
    kmcS1 chain £2.99
    doofer £9.99

if i do that and and reuse the middle chain ring, leaving the front derailor to act as chain guide. Will this be ok?
