That’s correct. They took on RM to deliver it to you in the right condition. They didn’t do so (though technically, leaving it in a bin could be considered delivered I suppose but it’d be stretching the definition of delivery).

Miracle or Ican on aliexpress are one of the good companys to deal with.

Actually, just realised that most of them are listed as ‘hybrids’ rather than mtb so the 62 is orange…

Unfortunately it looks like the Frog 60 is only available in purple

I’ve got the latest HP14 and it’s great and a bargain at £250 – Fast, simple, looks good. Mrs Clubber loves it too which is a definite plus.

I’ve got the remote desktop on my two other (Windows) computers and it works perfectly on them so can’t really help the OP I’m afraid.

The only fly in the ointment I can think of is that we’ve found google docs a little awkward for some word documents where the formatting doesn’t work well between word and google docs – eg you edit in one and it doesn’t look the same in the other. Problem solved though with the latest Office online apps from Microsoft which don’t have this problem. No issues so far with spreadsheets though there’s also Excel online for that if necessary.

Talking to my son last night, another important requirement came up – he’d really like an orange bike… (orange, not Orange[/url])

Anyone got or tried a Felt Q24?

Basically future proof it as much as possible – biggest conduit (within reason!) that you can fit to allow for additional cables, etc. Possibly even a cubby hole behind the TV to allow neat installation of a small box like Now TV or similar.

That’s a boil or infected pore – you need to be really careful with those as they can cause all sorts of problems if they get worse…

Wash yourself well(!) and make sure you never wear shorts twice. If you’re doing really long rides, it can be worth using some antiseptic cream to help prevent this.

What Gary said though don’t be fooled into thinking that decent = expensive. My most comfortable shorts are the cheapest ones I have at only £35 (Northwave FWIW).

And ideally dump the baggies – it’s just more seams to potentially rub if you’re doing long rides.

Can I suggest that people post tt lengths rather than just seat tube sizes which are irrelevant in themselves.

    1. I’m not middle class;
    2. I’m glad I’m not middle class.

That’s about the most middle class thing you could have said ;-)

I’ve always got hand pain on mtbs despite trying out just about every position, grip, etc. I just lived with it given that there wasn’t much I could do about it.

I got some ergons cheap at a bike jumble and I’ve found them great. Can’t say I notice them other than the almost complete lack of hand pain (which is a major improvement)

Thanks again to the OP for his work.

I just loaded it to my 605 and thought I’d post pics of how it looks compared to the talkytoaster ones.

This is the OP’s new OS-style map:

This is the same place on the talkytoaster map (with contours, routable)

For me, I think I still prefer the talkytoaster one as it has contours which I like to see but otherwise, it is good though as someone previous pointed out, roads seem to cut over eachother at juntions rather than just being continuous lines – you can’t see it in the pic above, but at t-juntions, I found a lot of roads overlap in a way that makes it confusing – less of an issue out of town though where roads are less densely packed.

Try and install the messaging app – I’m going to guess that it’s a Huawei one rather than the stock android one.

If that doesn’t work, try installing a different one and making that the default. I recommend handcent.

FWIW, Mrs clubber is definitely not an IT person and she loves it…

Do you really need a windows machine?

    Chromebook? http://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/computing/laptops/chromebooks/hp-14-q032sa-14-chromebook-21937179-pdt.html

£250 and we’ve found it brilliant for the things you listed.

Lots of threads on here about them.

Yes, it’ll do what you’ve asked for – almost all of them do that – the better ones (including the touring) have a map that shows under the trail so that you have a better idea where you’re going.

    34 with 11-36.

I’m really unfit at the moment too and I find that’s ok – I am a spinner but can churn bigger gears when necessary. I recently got a new chainring and did consider a 32 but given that I’ve not really found that I needed a lower gear, stuck with the 34.

    Oh

Legal experts say Clifford faces at least two years in jail, as the judge will have to use guidelines in force when the offences were committed in the 1970s and 1980s.

If the offences had been committed in the last decade, he could have been given a life sentence, as two of the guilty verdicts on a 15-year-old female victim involved serious sex crimes

    So, 4.5 years.

Having been a ‘preferred’ buyer recently (looking for ages, willing to pay the going rate, ready to move quickly), we were regularly shown places before they appeared on rightmove and in fact, the house we’re hopefully moving to, we were the first to see and offer on.

Based on your other thread, maybe they think you’re unlikely to ever offer what a place will go for and as such are cutting you out of the loop since it’s a waste of their time – from their pov at least.

I will also hopefully be there with a ton to stuff to clear my garage before a house move. The vast majority I really want to shift so don’t be shy and make me an offer

(I’ll be the tall guy with a carnation. Or failing that, with the purple CX frame for sale)

Flames are just visible gasses are particles resulting from the combustion. The reaction can take place without visible flames, within cooling lumps of charcoal for example.

And Vettel almost certainly has a pre-contract with Ferrari…

Ferrari might be rethinking it at the moment :)

(FWIW, I don’t buy into the theory that Vettel is just average but had a great car for four years. I reckon he learnt to drive that EBD and is now struggling to relearn to drive without it given that it’s a very different technique (just ask Webber)).

Usually as low as possible – lower CoG and if it should slip (which mine never has, mind) it’ll tend to slip to the lower position.

That said, mine is in the top position (12 o’clock) because that’s where it had to be to get the double specific front mech to work without hitting the chainstay. I now don’t have a front mech (running 1x now) but I’ve still left it in the top position.

Flameless combustion is possible. Flames are a side effect of combustion
