Anyone got or rate the RockShox Reba RL Air 100mm 29er Fork (with Poplock) for going on the Swift? Considering getting some as they are going cheap.

    WHERE???? (please)

I use the smudge light on the helmet, I’ve been looking for a punchy light for just this purpose. I run a trout original liberator on the bars.

Having fully experienced this now, I really think something nice and floody on the bars combined with something with throw on the helmet is a great combination.

I rode last night in the forest with just the smudge light and it was strange experience not having the trout lib light the way, but the smudge light was excellent.

I have recently got a fibreflare rear light too and it may be my imagination but it seems drivers do take more care when they see one of these, really impressed.

I can confirm that the smudge light is excellent!

Have you tried cane creek or giant bar ends? They span the ends i.e. they don’t just go forward from the end of the bar. Very comfy when combined with lizard skin northshore lock-ons…

I’d go down the yamaha route myself, I agree with turnerguy wrt Bose and place yamaha a couple of categories above the pure stuff. My yamaha, can’t remember the model, is excellent.

My experience with sadolin has not been good at all, the stuff seems to wear through in weeks, I’ve been advised to try sikkens next…

Great event! Really enjoyed it and will be in for next year, cracking course.

Thanks again to Aidan & co, great atmosphere.

Much respect to the guy that did the, (really muddy), chainless downhill event running schwalbe marathons…

Elaine anne, They are the old Orc compound which I found horrid on anything wet…

I would be looking for the evo triple nano or pacestar compounds for schwalbes if on wet roots… Check out on one
