I’d be looking at a refurb dell on ebay, got a really nice machine from lapodo on there.

That’s a good point, maybe the op should try something like a chronicle with the exo wall casing…

I did run them at 15psi front and 12 psi rear for one ride.

That wants to be the other way round… try 12 front and 15 rear

Eeks I think 20psi is missing the point of plus tyres.

I’m a big guy and only get squirm below 12 psi, my sweet spot is around 13-14psi

Any harder and you may as well be on normal tyres imho. The grip and the bump absorption that keep you rolling faster just won’t be present at 20psi.

    What tyres are they?

With respect to mud, yes they are crap at that… ONnly thing I found any good on the front in mud is a dirt wizard, but I did see a pic of a 3″ minion somewhere which may also work

What pressures are you running? plus tyres are definitely more sensitive to having the correct pressure and there is a sweet spot depending on your weight, rims etc… I imagine it’s the same or even more pronounced with fat bikes.

I did this with FiL but with a westfield, great idea do it, building it was as much fun as driving it…

    This…

This frame designer is 6’2″ so pretty much all our XL frames are designed to fit me.

Sam’s XL frames seem as if they were designed for me!

I’m 6’2″ and always prefer XL just feel better on them 90% of the time to have a bike that fits rather than the 10% of the time I hoped it was more manoeuvrable… getting a bike with short chainstays helps with this though….

Watched Jessica Jones after hearing about it on here…

I think it is great… much darker than I was expecting…

Don’t miss the wire though, that is something everyone should watch in their lifetime…

Another vote for Zell am See here, only been in winter but it’s beautiful and on a lake obviously. The summer sports and facilities look great and we’re considering going this summer or next.

In addition to all the previous…

My wife has to discuss everything no matter how trivial, even if I’ve heard it 4 times before as she’s been on the phone to her mates earlier talking about the same thing. She will not make a decision unless discussed and even if discussed to her satisfaction will do exactly what she wants anyway… JUST GET ON WITH IT WILL YOU!!!

The pot chimineas are a bit crap really, only let heat out of a narrow aperture.

I was much happier with a fire pit device pit thing or a friend has one of those steel chimineas which is open all the way round. steel chiminea

We had a great time at Lathkill Dale Campsite http://rowsonfarm.wix.com/lathkill not the plushest but the pitches were all separated and quiet with hedges.

Pub at Monyash was 5mins walk away and was legendary, heaving with nice people and serving very good beer, including local brewery Thornbridge who make that magical brew Jaipur…

I’ve just put a Krampus fork and a 3.0 Knard on the front of the Swift as an experiment. I’m loving it.

Why didn’t you put the plus compatible new swift fork in there?

Hi Greg, why no stove, my thinking would be some re-hydrated stuff would come as a relief? Can you give us an idea of your eating habits whilst on the ride?
