I did. In the disused mine. I was so terrified that myself and my trusty companion ran down endless tunnels, stopping only to stuff a succession of teetering, over sized sandwiches down our throats.
Imagine my disappointment when it turned out, upon being unmasked, that it wasn’t a ghost at all, but the owner of the local funfair!

Missed a trick with the bridge not making it mildly technical or something.
It’s just a bridleway version of the Network Rail standard London-Midland pedestrian footbridge. You’ll see similar design at many stations if you look closely. The actual manufacturing cost for the steelwork of the bridge was about 5% of that quoted project cost.
