Only one I’ve seen was about a girl called Deborah. Based in Texas, if I recall. Not disappointing at all

Unless Deborah was your current girlfriend…

I’d love one but if you’re going to buy a fatty why would you choose this over the on-one fatty?

This is not a dig, I am a Singular fan BTW.

I suppose it’s the same as why buy a swift over an inbred but it just seems less important when you’re on 4inch tyres…

    z1ppy you’ve mentioned 2 things I wouldn’t buy in a 29er longer chainstays and aluminium

Buzzard is a great ride, great pedalling, great climbing, great pointing down etc. Most fun 29er ht I’ve ever had and all without having to compromise any other aspects usually associated with a fun bike to ride.

I say yes, my middleburns and white industries cranks always loosen and loosen and loosen if they aren’t installed with a thin smear of grease…

They then stay tight but also come off easily when required.

Edit: I use copperslip, not grease, as per somafunk

The Jandd dimensions seemed like they would fit my frame so gave it a shot.

It’s on backwards, does it work ok like that?

Trevor Carthy was a legend, he’d have been NFL if it wasn’t for his knees, he coached while I was there and was still twice as fast and could cut twice as hard as anyone else despite his age and knackered knees.

    Always stuffed Leicester!

JandD 1/4 the price of a wildcat frame bag… Very different product and Custom Made to suit your frame from Wildcat

I’m not abusing Wildcat tho, great products, I have their Tiger seat pack which is very good.

If they brought out a standard rather than bespoke small frame pack like the JandD I’d buy that rather than from America.

I have that one, just buy it direct, doesn’t take too long to arrive.

Waterproof wise it’s pretty good but I’d put electricals in a proper dry bag thing first if I wwas going to be out for a long ride in the rain.

Edit: Forgot to say I really like it, straps on firmly, good quality etc. and a great price.

Don’t think you beat the Aeropress with Stovetop, aeropress wins on:

    1. Taste, no burnt flavours
    2. Cleaning up after
    3. Speed
    4. Transportable

EDIT: I was hoping it was going to be about beer too….

Although mud-x are easier on the tubeless front, needed a compressor for the beaver

I think Beavers are a better tyre than the Mud-x, better rolling and slighty more volume.

I’m similar sized and getting on an XL made the world of difference for having the right shaped cockpit for pedalling, far more efficient and comfortable for me.

I’ve had my bike completely disappear sidewards from underneath me leaving me stood up on some slippery sections with performance compound. I personally will never buy them for any wet duties.

NN clog up in heavy mud.

    I was hoping not… Only 29er tyre with volume that I thought wouldn’t clog…..

Binners, I wouldn’t use that performance compound in the wet
