Where do you buy your astras from Drac?

Definitely got to be DE but my favourite blades are Feather Hi-Stainless.

I Like gilette 7 o’clocks too but not the yellows, the black super platinums is where it’s at, 99.5% as sharp as the feathers but stay sharp much longer than the feathers

    What about the Juke-R???

    Juke with a GTR engine

    Still wouldn’t want one…

Me too, love mine, feels like the pedalling position is spot on if that makes sense, anyway it seems a very efficient pedaller…

Love it singlespeed or geared or packed up for touring…

The new swift allows 29+ wheels and tyres too! (front only)

I am 6’2″ and ride a swift or buzzard and XL seems perfect for me. I tried a Large and much preferred the XL.

Went out to Florida to do Disney with the kids. The day we were supposed to leave the volcano (was it Eyjafjallajökull?) in Iceland went up and we couldn’t get a flight back for another 2 weeks…

I was talking about browning anonymously…

I understand, it’s not something I would shout about either…

I’m not an on-one fan but Shibboleth seems way off track accusing on-one of shit QC on the basis of one persons experience and ZERO evidence from on-one or any other manufacturer for comparison

£500 is a bit of an awkward amount to spend on a watch.

Cheapish automatics are about the 2-3 hundred range and then it’s about £1000 for the next step up.

    £500 is no-mans land.

You’ve never heard of Christopher Ward then….

Hmmm… can’t vouch for the power of your camping stove boiling 10litres… try it first, it might be fine…

I have a gas wok hob on my cooker and it powers it beautifully… And I love the smell of boiling wort in the kitchen… Missus, kids and dog not so keen…

I think the massive set-up is a great way to start, you will want to upgrade eventually but it answers a lot of questions.

Damn it Trout that sounds dangerous!!

I’m still using my massive brewery stuff, great way to start!, getting the hang of things now and producing some nice bitters.

I started out trying to do all sorts of recipes and clones but I think mastering a standard brew is fairly important, you can see what you’re doing wrong or where you can improve.

Got to start looking into water treatment and controlling fermentation temperatures next!

People above calling the beaver small but the beaver 2.0 is slightly bigger volume than mud-x or storm control 2.0’s

Beaver also available in 2.25 for more volume.

I find the beaver a much nicer rolling tyre in all conditions and able to cope with mud. I used to love the mud-x…

Only ridden a swift, but it is a lovely ride combined with really efficient pedalling compared to anything else I’ve ridden…

If I had to have only one bike, it would be a swift, especially a new one with knard compatibility.

EBB is great, wouldn’t faff with anything else.

Yes goo is required for puncture protection.

Take your wheel off, hold it vertically for a few seconds to let any fluid drain down to the bottom, then give it a shake and listen for some sloshing. If you can’t hear anything I’d add some stan’s fluid.

Don’t unseat the tyre! Fluid can be added through the valve because it will have a removable core.

Deflate tyre, take out the core, add fluid, put core back in, re-inflate tyre, go ride

+1 for checking the tyre for thorns… last time I changed my tubeless tyres I had 10+ thorns in the tyre, no punctures though…
