Faff to set up. needs cables readjusting every week or so, need to be set up from scratch every month or so – a total pain
what are you doing??? OK sometimes the initial setup is a bit faffy, but on my commuter (Road BB7s) I reckon I adjust the pads 2 or 3 times a year and thats it!
did you use shorter cranks?
I’m in the process of building oldest daughter a 14″ Inbred (its ss but adding gear hanger) – just got it back from powdercoaters…
Where abouts? My b-in-law lives near Monmouth and have only ever ridden locally from their house – fancy tackling something different when I’m next over.
I miss my Paul Milnes – it was my first build.
Has popped up on here a couple of times – had it painted an olive green colour. Love to know where it is now…
Just phoned them – looks really nice! What are the facilities like? The guy was very helpful but made it sound a bit ‘back to nature’ (not that thats a bad thing!).
Too much money. Thats over £7.5k all in. I’ve just sold a 56 plate new shape, new engine renault trafic with FSH, 1 years warranty left, just serviced and full tax, 28k on the clock for 6500 inc vat.
from what I’ve researched over last few weeks it is a good deal – I’ve looked at vivaro/traffic/primastar and its £1000 cheaper than anything similar I’ve seen
Or if your reasonably PC building savvy do a search re OEM SLIP’d BIOS’s for the motherboard of your choice. Which is effectively telling the OS that your new kit is an OEM Dell, Asus, HP or whatever build and use the same OS OEM licence key
Apparently one site will do the SLIP insertion to the bios of your choice with the OEM of your choice for you……but that’s just what I’ve heard.
