How about the Chilterns for a weekend of riding? Don’t know what the current conditions are but there are folk on here that have local knowledge.

There are some fantastic trails there, great scenery, lots of variety, pretty villages, red kites in abundance and, if you’re unlucky, miserable bl***y walkers.

I was being very careful riding the geared bike today but as soon as I pushed down on the bars, the shooting pains appeared so don’t really know whether the elbow support was doing any good.

Thanks for all your replies … might just have to put the ss up for sale or join a knitting circle!

Oh dear! The frustrating thing is that I’m currently being treated for another problem on the same side! Can’t even hold a kettle.

So was it riding that caused the tennis elbow for you all?

What I really don’t want to have to do again is to ride around the car park asking random men if they are there for the STW Forum Ride :roll: It was so embarrassing!!

Meant to have said (or perhaps I shouldn’t) but the trails were running really well this weekend. It very nearly (again and again) ended in tears on The Deer Stalker, that top section was so bloomin’ fast!

Oh, and Conor, thanks for the invite but you will need a slapped wrist first! Aleigh has really enjoyed her riding this weekend and has thrown herself around the very fast Swinley trails.
