mk1’s have the hose guide hoops on the top of the top tube, and the rear dropouts are slightly bigger than that one

i avoided this frame, because of the straight ST – may consider one with a curved ST though

my on one ti 29er frame (lynskey built) had a curved ST and the BB stiffness was fine

the mech issue on my first 29er from on one needed hacking (a pre-ordered 29er Scandal around 2007-ish) – so not really a new issue?

don’t quite follow what you are stating

lost a chain and the cranks came apart? to lose a chain means it broke/snapped

    which thread stripped – frame/BB/bolt/crank?

doubt this is manufacturers warranty – so don’t get your hopes up – sorry

    How worried should you be?

    wouldn’t be concerned at all….

however if you worked in conditions with exposure to fibres everyday for 20 years – then yes, you are buggered…

you should be more worried about how much of the stuff that is already floating around the atmosphere – loads of it!

they still mine it and make products with it in other parts of the world believe it or not

very very nice :D, but…. did you consider the XL? the sizes are much shorter on the newer sultans

i don’t need anything longer than a 70mm stem on my large mk1 sultan (still going strong) – but would need a XL in the new model

plus these new ones are much slacker – it longs like you are rocking a 90mm stem!

have a listen to ‘we’re alive’ for where not to go (start at the beginning though)..

i reckon the Trafford Centre would work out well – as long as i had a helicopter get away option from the roof

could be surrounded by thousands of zombie mancs though – just like xmas eve shopping then!

depends what you are used to – i’ve just started using mine as a helmet light with a pouch battery, replaced a six year old light & motion arc ultra (675 lumens) – although i find it difficult to compare HID lumens with the reported LED lumen figures thb

the arc was an excellent light, with a fanastic beam and excellent battery but did have a very bright hot spot in the centre of the beam but this year after many years excellent service wouldn’t start up

its early days yet, only my third night ride using it this evening, was fine (more than enough light for me), although I couldn’t get it to stay on high setting this evening (either i’m too slow or it was too warm) – it auto switches to a lower beam i.e. lower temp when too warm

no hot spots in the centre of the beam, high quality construction, not used it longer than 135 minutes yet so can’t comment on the battery duration really, and has taken a couple of hard knocks from tree branches already and light enough to run on a helmet and was much cheaper than the alternatives i was considering (SpiderEyes by troutelights and the L&M Seca 1400) when i bought it

plus its ten times better than the Exposure Diablo Mk1 I wasted £200 notes on

CSCS and CCNSG are different cards and have separate tests – is just one a requirement? if thats the case you need one to work you’ll basically have to get one

out of order that they insist you must do it in your own time/cost – or are you a consultant for the company (not an employee)?

was going to do something similar but have decided to either tile or stick some new vinyl down in my kitchen

the place i am going to get the flooring from posts the below on their website:

Only lacquered floors are recommended in a kitchen as it offers better protection against moisture than oiled floors and, as such, we don’t recommend oiled floors to be laid in kitchens. One thing to remember with these floors is that they cannot be mopped, or have water sat on the surface for long periods. Splashes from washing up and the like are acceptable, just wipe them up as soon as you see them.
