if the Council is happy with the proposals you haven’t got a chance in hell….

look at Delamere Forest – over 3000 objections to the construcion of 70 holiday lodges and a new access road in the actual forest – and planning approved

my office is in chorlton (since ’97) – i always have a chuckle when i hear people describing chorlton as trendy/bohemian/nice

yes it does has a couple of posh streets and good deli’s – but unless overpriced housing, students, immigrants, brothels and drive by shootings are your thing i’d stick to outside the M60…

Yes, MTB tyre sizes are given in inches, road bike in mm.

MTB also have mm sizes as well

is referred to as ETRTO, moulded on the side of the tyre (not printed) and is a more accurate tyre section width imo

After waiting 5 weeks and several delays I was told today of another 3 week wait

    and thats a lifetime?

i’d had a Turner frame warranty take 6 months until it reached me – if they don’t have them, you don’t get them

Souldn’t the best chainline be in the ring you use the most with the chain in the middle of the cassette? For me on a double that would be the old middle ring, the same is the case on a triple. I think the different offset in the Shimano double cranks puts the best chainline in-between the two rings meaning it is never quite right.

yep – and with a ten speed cassette its even harder

    Shall we have sweepstake?

I reckon she’ll get 6 points and a £1000 fine for leaving the scene and not reporting but she’ll get not guilty for the careless driving bit

originally used the yellow dirt worker – finally died on me last year after several years of abuse and plenty of replacement parts

now use a Nomad with twin batteries, a lot more useful than the plug in dirtworker -and loads of spares and accessories available on their website now (rather than ebay) – its a much improved and developed product now

cons – expensive and watch out for the flimsy plastic fittings at the base of the gun, they break easy if you drop the gun on hard paving = means you don’t get a good seal when connecting the hose and half the water sprays in your face and not the bike (£20 replacement cost for a new spray gun….. ouch)
