The rants were a bit ‘Trump’ like…

That’s hilarious. I’ve ridden that one a few times and also in the wet, slippy as hell.

I usually stay Upper West side. Nice and chilled but easy access obviously to everywhere else.

I haven’t met a stupid tubeless valve yet. They just work. (17yrs of use)

Well my years of owning an Ellsworth (and all the issues..) and actually dealing with Tony Ellsworth obviously count for nothing…. :?

Mountain bikes is a fashion industry. You can tell this, as it has “model years” and is driven by lifestyle images, marketing, and advertising.

Lefty forks aren’t fashionable right now. When they are fashionable, they will be on bikes.

Woohoo maybe I’ll be fashionable one day!.

I wonder who the new distributor might be, jackmathers?

    Exactly.

Think somebody is putting the feelers out… At least he knows the brand name still has such a positive vibe

    Converted to a bolt from a 510.

The wahoo wipes the floor with garmin offerings imo.

Same here. Grew tired of Garmin issues and failures. Went from 510 (my last ever Garmin!) to a Bolt.

Very very quiet, just the two of us.

Didn’t over eat, didn’t over drink, went for a bracing long walk yesterday morning in a solid stiff westerly on the beach. Slammed the heating on to “melt skirting boards” hot and watched a bit of TV, then a film I’d recorded, then bed.

    A normal day then.

Pretty much the same! (except for the stiff westerly).

then, my last bike I sat on one in a shop, a bit later bought online. I think it might be slightly too small, but the large felt too big in the shop. Fantastic ride though, so no regrets.

    Classy.

Not once in all my years have I even thought about greasing a cassette.

It’s extremely open to the elements and will attract grit and dirt and then most likely be gone on the first wash.

    Why bother.

Maybe bother to actually read the thread?

Due to work commitments I mainly use my gravel bike at the moment.. So it travels with us and goes into our freight container. It’s more versatile than my mountain bike as I use both 700c and 650b wheelsets. So wherever I am in the world I can usually get a ride in. Portugal mid Jan :) Mmmm dusty.

If he manages to continue racing after this the abuse out on the stsges is going to get even worse.

Possibly one of the ugliest bikes out there at the moment. But as you say they are light with good spec. I’m sure they ride well… and you won’t see it when you’re on it.

Is that the first flounce from a bike manufacturer?

You ever heard of Tony Ellsworth?……

This has now peaked with them proudly stating that they hunted through the web to find someone’s details who criticised them on Facebook and called them at home, asking their wife to pass the phone over so they could confront the person about it.

Seriously? If true, what a bellend!

    Indeed.

Backpack only for big days out in the middle of nowhere. Everything else, just a water bottle.

I’ll always want a frame with bottle mounts.

Yeah the SuperMax easily takes a 3″ and then some. Not sure about the frame though :)

My Lefty has the 2Spring sticker.

There should be a serial number on the fork. Ping it to Cannondale.

What aP said. Cannondale missed a trick with the Slate. I reckon they would have sold a whole lot more if you could run some proper size rubber on 650b. I see they’ve dropped the Slate in this country now?

Standard vacuum cleaners are a no no. Actually makes the situation worse. As someone said above, printer engineers use special vacuums for a reason.

Henry Hoover will just blow the carbon dust all over the workshop from the exhaust.
