All riding is good, wherever it is and on whatever bike. That can be an off the peg bling bike or a rigid steel Jones single speed ego chariot type. It’s all good.

32 11×36 in the Alps for me, with a fair bit of climbing. I can do it and I’m not racing whippet.

It’s just a Chinese jobby, superb to ride. Quality is amazing and better than some of the wonky badly finished named brands I’ve had.

I think you’ve mentioned the issue. Chainring bolts? Should be tight or they will make a noise.
