Our local parish council also got a similar letter,

    BUGGERME PARISH COUNCIL
    Clerk: Mr. L.E.A.N ON-ME
    John Tiresome, Esquiite,
    Chairman,
    WANKERHAM Wheelers.
    Email:
    Dear Mr. Tiresome,
Buggerme is a small rural Tory voting village with quiet country lanes, used for dogging activities, a gay/mixed village pub, farm traffic, horse riders and the occasional bus, It attracts a large number of doggers and members of your naturist club who often play/ride the lanes in large groups.
At our recent Parish Council meetings concern was raised that some of these dogging groups are often travelling to fast and in groups spread across the road, approaching junctions and sharp corners in a manner that represents a serious risk to both themselves and the potential oncoming traffic, older people may only get a quick stroke or flash of naked flesh.
Hence we have decided to write to yourselves to register our concern and ask that you
publicise our concern with your club members, and encourage more safety awareness when travelling in our area.
We are keen to welcome doggers and walkers to our lovely village but we do not want to see people injured or worse.
I have also written to Sloughbridge dogging Club in the same context.
    Yours sincerely,

    I M MASTERBATING

    Clerk of the Council

What the heck is wrong with that? It seems very polite to me. So someone has some concerns. The title of the thread seems to suggest your attitude is that they should just get over it. I would suggest maybe contacting them. Show a bit of concern and interest in their issues and you are not a load of arrogant mamils that think it is their right to mount their steeds and cruise the highways.

While I agree, your post is pointless when it comes to a lot of people on this forum.

    Common issue with Conti’s.

I’ve had two completely deform. Had one go on me in the Alps a few weeks back.

    No longer a Conti user..

Awesome trails, flowy and fast. Not that tech at all IMO but as SSS said everyone is different 😮

You have to earn your downhill fun out there though!

I think Alan Kang has gone, he basically killed the brand (rich daddy bought him the company)

Really hope they are back as they used to produce some good stuff.

I’m not sure why people moan about ‘dragging’ it through an airport. If you pull it along properly it’s no issue. It’s not like you walk miles with it anyway.

Because, in my experience, it’s a pita dragging it when you’ve got other bags to carry and you schlepping around from one terminal to another trying to find where your connecting flight is, using lifts which wont’t let you take a trolley with a bike bag across it.

Sorry still don’t get it. Some other bags don’t even have wheels, just shoulder straps to either carry or drag. I just have my bag in one hand, backpack on, and with the other hand just pull my Evoc bag along. It’s never been a drag or unstable if you lift it slightly off the ground at the front like you’re supposed to. Maybe it’s just me that doesn’t have issues with this task.

Same goes for all my mates who use them. We seem to get through airports just fine.

I’ve used Carbonal a few times, they’ve been spot on.

Couple of frames and wheels bought in the past. Good communication and fast delivery. Often faster than some UK vendors I use.

The Evoc has been out for a few years now so well tested.

It packs down really well too when not in use.

Can’t go wrong with an Evoc. But the other one does look good also.

Evoc’s are so easy to use, takes me about 10 mins to get my bike packed or unpacked. Always nice when you’re done and having a beer when other people are basically having to either fully assemble their bikes or take them completely apart for the trip home.

Some of these sub 30lb Enduro bikes look like they’d break on seeing the Alps.

    What a stupid statement.

Been waiting for this, it’s been all over the London rumour mill for weeks since he allegedly became a bahamian or barbadian (not sure which) citizen to avoid extradition, (allegedly)..

Rumours for at least 20 years that I know of in the Weybridge area, when I lived there in the early 90’s.

    Usual gossip mill.
