Tony sold the brand, so is on the sidelines so I hear (which is where he should have always been). The new Moment looks very nice.

Also, still not sure about QR and discs. Having had bolt through on MTB for years, it just seems “better” in my opinion. And, as you can’t race it, what does it matter how quick your wheel changes are? Surely better braking and steering is, well, better.

    What a load of rubbish.

I’m running full sram cx1 with a wolftooth 38T. Love it for my riding. Simple, smooth and quiet.

Yeah it’s the hub body nylon bushing. That’s that classic Crossmax scream.

You can get a conversion kit that changes that bushing to a bearing.

+1 for P X service, I swear folk who complain lead pretty sad lives who whinge and have similar views to that ginger woman on watchdog.

Maybe we could have the forum censored to reflect only your views and experiences.

I tried it a couple of times and think it ended up making it last longer.

Just rest and keep cold air off your lungs and chest.

Just get some conti protection trail kings. Beasts of tyres and seem to handle anything that’s thrown at them!

apart from anything remotely rough or rocky. Lasted 1 Lakeland descent for me before tearing and the same for several others I know. Probably brilliant at trail centers though.

Heard some very good things about the charge and top racers seem to love them. Apparently they are trying out a new charge with stronger side walls so that could be a great rear tyre for the rough stuff.

and when they deform… Had two deform on me this year, one so bad the tyre hit the frame. It’s a known issue on Conti’s…

Used Carbonal loads of times with no issues. Two frames still going strong, one still being used by a 16st ex international prop.

Used Carbonzone with no issues. Wheels have been reliable, well built with great finish.

I’ve had plenty of boutique brands in my time and the finish of the Chinese stuff has often been better. The last off the shelf buy was an On One Dirty Disco that was out of alignment to the point where the rear tyre rubbed – got told to use a smaller tyre and not the one they supplied and specced #retarded

Massive thread on MTBR about Chinese frames. You’ll get most questions answered there.
