I use Cowbells (46 wide). No problems with control and braking in the drops of more techy stuff.

I had one back in 2001. Great bike, very refined ride. Mine came with 2×9 xtr.

Only sold it as I wanted something a lot slacker and longer travel as I stsrted doing Alpine trips.

Perfectly normal UD carbon. Much prefer that raw finish to the horrible 12K or 3K weave.

Some more info here. I’ve put loads of Lefty’s in different frames. As about the gap between the clamps is crucial. But there are different Lefty clamp sizes on the old ones. The is the XL clamp too.

Those first two are definitely plotting your demise. (Like most cats)
