Sounds like they are filming something based on Simon Scarrow’s Centurion books. Cracking books.

How can you be upset about the free postage being better than expected, for the minor inconvienience of it arriving early. Maybe leave it at work till tomorrow? Just a thought. I’ve had blips with CRC but they’re still one of the best retailers i’ve ever used, both in the cycle industry and outside it.

I think he’s just having a laugh

I like how people that have given him positive feedback are viewed as ‘genuine’ customers.. so if you’ve had issues you’re not a genuine customer?…

Been pissing myself over some of his replies to negative feedback on that link TJ put up.

“This short sighted simpleton got what he ordered, we offered to swap, he refused” amongst many gems lol. Perhaps DH and Superstar went to the same customer service classes?

Classis Daily Wail reader I bet…..

I’m in SW London. Riding is good for me, 30 mins train ride from the North Downs – some of the finest singletrack you’ll find anywhere, if you know where to go. Then a couple of hours in the car I can hit the Welsh border with a great choice of trail centres. I’m happy enough.

Does this mean the niche crew will have to bang one out over someone new?

I’ve missed this one, thankfully. Are the niche massive munting over some new on-one creation?

A really good set of outer/cable cutters are a must. I wouldn’t buy a headset press because of cost vs how times I’d actually use it. If I build a bike I usually buy a headset from my LBS and get them to fit it. Everything else as people said are easily done at home.

I have one mounted on my helmet. IME it’s been great and is as good as my Hope HID.

Ditched my Marta’s, especially after a couple of Alpine trips. Inconsistent performance for me. You get good ones and bad ones I guess, there will be plenty of people saying they are great.

You could be a bus driver or tube driver, £30K plus. The bus you don’t have to drive that well, brake hard and accelerate hard and generally make a crap journey for your passengers. Tube driver, operate a dead mans lever, free travel, cheap food and be able to sleep in while your trade union leader holds the general public to ransom on your behalf.

I have a Dakine one. Fits a long travel bike easily and loads of protection. The only downside is the weight – so I pack carefully.
