If you want a good guide and base in that area try The White Room. Steveo and Iona have a great set up.

Rode that a few weeks ago. And yeah the film (as usual) doesn't show how steep it is. Fun little trail though.

Plus the wild strawberry's on the side of that trail are awesome. 8)

I’ve used Sunline V2’s bars for a couple of years. I really like them, light and tough and they’ve taken plenty of abuse.

Are you sure there is still no air in the system? Cable tie the levers to the bar overnight and open the top cap in the morning – you might see a couple of small bubbles. This has happened to me after a full bleed, even though I was sure and double checked there were no bubbles going through the system.

I always use sintered. Put a new set in and 5 mins from leaving the chair lift they are nice and bedded in. They don’t really get much choice. I’ve found that I can easily use one set for the week, even if it’s wet.

How do you find the 2.4 Kings heihei? I really struggled when it got damp in the alps, no confidence on the front.

Will do, just gotta fix the rear mech that got smacked in Snowdonia – then it gets ready for the Alps followed by Eggland for some sort of clique meet up.

So Joxster, as part of your product testing – what do you think of the RQ 2.4? Where do you test and what conditions?

I asked bike24 again about the 2.2. It appears that both the 2.2 and 2.4 UST’s will be offered with the sticky compound (2.4 chilli available now obviously). Here is the reply I got today.

We thank you for your request at Bike24. Only the tubeless version of Rubber Queen 2.2 shines with the allround BlackChili compound.
