So what Christmas builds have will all got lined up?

I’ve got a Kyosho Tomahawk to finish (just decals). A Javelin to build and a Kyosho Beetle.

The electrical squeal is perfectly normal. You won’t hear it under normal use, like outside etc.

I think it comes with oil rear shocks, rather than just friction dampers – which the Grasshopper has.

I was at that Divison Bell concert at Earls Court too.

There will be a reverse throttle switch on the back of your transmitter.

Ignore that one and just tuck it away. It’s for a brushless motor.

The ESC does both brushed and brushless.

I’m slowly working my way through the Kyosho Legendary series. Tomahawk just about done. Optima next.

They are stunning builds, mostly metal. A bit like the Tamiya SRB’s, except these actually have performance and handling :)

Crikey that is worth a fair bit of money to a collector!

DT-03? Comes with a couple of hop ups. CVD oils shocks and a Torque Tuned silver can.

Anyone doing some Tamiya or other R/C stuff during the lockdown?

I’m just about to start a Kyosho Tomahawk. Just finished a Rough Rider.

Had a few weeks off work, been a busy year…

So managed to get around to actually finishing this re-release Frog (which I got back in 2006)…

We just had a batch of new ones come in, the new 16″ ones with the proper working keyboard… All came with Catalina – which one of our major Apps won’t work with at the moment so a real pain. Spent yesterday crowbarring Mojave back on.

There are trails that run down the valley to Tasche, St Niklaus and Visp. I’ve ridden them a few times and generally they aren’t technical. They roughly follow the train tracks. Expect to be gawped at by thousands of tourists on the Glacier Express.

Shame you’re missing the epic stuff high up in Zermatt! The run down from Gornergrat is a giggle.

Does he tweet before or after his Maccy D breakfast?

Well I disagree. He is an awesome raw talent and the other Pro’s know it – which is why he’s liked by a lot of them. Even on court yesterday he was having a laugh with Nadal – you just don’t see those bits reported in the media.

I was there yesterday for the match and loved every minute of it – really entertaining. I’ve always liked him. Even more so now because he seems to upset some of the snowflakes in here.

And basically what Funkrodent said. It’s good we have these characters in sport (the ones with a personality).

It’s just setting a rubbish example for pro sport – isn’t it? Really? Dear god….

Not in deepest darkest Surrey but not right in town either.

My local has it on the 20th. https://www.olympiccinema.co.uk/film/Apollo-11

Not IMAX but they have quality sound.

Watched it at IMAX last night. Thought it was awesome; as was the score.

The F-1 engines sounded incredible through the IMAX subs.

See a few of these online.

    Shimano should replace under warranty.

They stepped out of a crappy Toyota Yaris on a crappy side street in my hood. I just wasn’t getting the Monaco vibe….

Frustrating thing is out of me, you, him and almost everyone else on here, only one of us is hanging out on boats in Monaco, pit lanes around the world and all the other trappings of the F1 sponsor caravan. I don’t doubt that the house of cards will tumble at some point but we’re unwitting pawns in what is clearly a marketing game and I can’t imagine the beardy guy will have any regrets.

Indeed, but guessing he won’t get an invite to this weekends shindig at Paul Recard? Or will he be heading over with some hot soapy water and vinegar to remove some logos.

Walked past him this morning, was having a proper old moan to his wannabe bearded hipster mate.

“I’ve been working to the bone this week” he loudly proclaimed. He’s known to speak loudly…. I’ve known of him for years in my neighbourhood. Bank of Dad and all that.

Send them back. You shouldn’t have to do that on a new set. Shimano seem to have got worse over the years. They used to be bombproof.
