When I turned 40 I bought a big red motorbike – does that count as “acting my age”?

next time mum’s away and he’s in bed, walk into the room stark bollock nekkid, tell him you’ve always fancied a mother/daughter threesome and, in the absence of a daughter, he’ll do, after all those are EPIC breasts dude, do you do bouncing up and down?
After that, the odd sureptitious smile, and he should be out in couple weeks, one way or another

correct me if im wrong but op said he moved phone from door pocket (right hand side of driver) to centre console (left hand side). so phone picked up with right hand and passed to left hand (at which point there are no hands dedicated to being in control of the steering wheel) or right hand stretches over the front of drivers body to deposit phone on centre console which I can easily see affecting the drivers ability ot control the vehicle. Either way, I can easily see a “not in control” offence.
Fight it and let us know how much it costs.

a mate of mine wanted a humanist service. this was done but the service was a bit more of an advert for humanism than a service for a great bloke. good idea, but i’d speak to them first and make sure they understand that the service is for the departed, not the humanists.

North Fife? You could look at the Forgan Stove Shop on the A914 between St Mike’s and Newport.
never used them but heard good things

rashie – tkmaxx do these bamboo sport tshirts from time to time, about £8-£10 IIRC and excellent – use them under my wetsuit for pool dive and kayak sessions. Still good, but allow for a bit of shtinkage.

I did once sit through a meeting doing my best not to laugh, but eventually gave in, so unfortunately the procedure for the Adverse Reporting of System Errors was renamed.

I dreamt I was a stand-up comedian and told a joke so funny I started to laugh. I laughed so much I woke myself up, still laughing. Great joke, wish I could remember it

A canoe over a rowing boat as in a canoe you paddle forward and get to see where you’re going. Something along the lines of an Old Town at £700-£800.

M90-Perth -> A9 to the distillery is probably fastest, but A9 gets a bit mental. But I’d want out of the central belt quick as poss, so might head for Perth, then A85 by Crieff to Crianlarich, then enjoy the A82 scenery

Yep, it’s pretty much not dark up here. I went out at 11:30pm, and it was just starting to get darker.

it’s called the gloaming and it’s perfect for roaming

OP – you should jump on the ferry to Shetland for the weekend

And of course the British PM is more than happy to allow the EU to “meddle” in our affairs when it comes to the EU forcing us to privitise our 500 year old Royal Mail.
It’ll be turned into some sort of hedge fund, no doubt

Fettercairn Fior – a magnificent dram
Although I have been looking wistfully at my special bottle of Aberlour – mis en bouteille by my own fair hands.
Although I did find bottle of Dufftown Singleton the other day which was surprisingly tasty

Passing the Fettercairn distillery the other day, I popped in and picked up a bottle of Fior

Peaty, sherry casked, lovely colour, shapely bottle, staggeringly good drink. Not Islay though
EDIT .. and unusual, not something you’ll see in Tesco

As well as using the safety leash, I’d insist on seatbelts as well,

and what happens when the boat flips, or gets holed and sinks fast?

you should have to prove insurance prior to launch at a public or commercial slipway.

good idea – drive the idiots away from public places so there’s even less chance of the getting help

When you want to just get home so you “filter” in the bus lane when a car pulls in front of and the driver gets out so you jump out of yours and fly into full road rage mode before clocking the sergeant’s stripes and words “Grampian Police” on his epaulettes.

excellent, reliable, well behaved motorcycle, maybe a bit on the big side for a first bike (says me, Kawasaki GT750 first bike). That said, I’ve never been a fan of linked brakes and they’re why I’ve never had one.
I’d say take it out for a ride and see what you think. There’s nothing hidden about it, so if you like it, that;s it. But I’d probably go with the Bandit first to build up the experience on a more basic but still fun bike
