I noticed, after being employed at the site, that urging him to take excercise and lose weight, only made the problem worse – he’d just eat more as a reaction to the stress of having his condition bought to his attention

So you tell the chubby he’s a chubby and he just shovels more crap into himself? It’s called denial and there’s only one prson who can deal with that.

This might sound a bit harsh, but it sounds to me like part of you would rather be in a relationship where someone treats you like shit, than be on your own. Seems fairly common.

    This.
Stay put, accept being treated like shite and that she’s probably shagging someone else, post on here every couple of months about how you’re sick of being treated like this and then make excuses for doing nothing about it.

Is that what you wanted to hear?

The Aprillia RST Futura has a sidestand down cut out switch which cuts the engine if you try to ride the bike with the sidestand down. Useful? Not when the ****ing thing decides the sidestands down when you’re doing 60 on a bend.
Audi A4 juction box including air bag warning light is under drivers seat. Move the seat back, connector can come out and you need to take the seat out to plug it back in again.

THAT;s tacky? I got a bottle opener that played the Coronation St theme when used. Couldn’t even open it to take the battery out and shut it up
Still, great for annoying the OH though

If you can, check the tide tables. If there’s spring tides, an hour or so before a high tide, pay the euro or whatever it costs now to get up to the balcony of St Mark’s and watch the square flood
From the railway station, catch vaporetto #1 and sit in the open bit at the back – possibly the best public transport trip in the world

owners of these sorts of houses already pay plenty of taxes that way

because, unbelievably, in a fair and equitable tax system, tax liabilities are based on ability to pay. Or, in case you don’t understand, those who have more contribute more,

I’d be all in favour of a tax break if the houses qualifying for and taking advantage of it are opened to the public. after all, if they’re part of the heritage I’m supprting, I should get to have a look.

I find parcels all over the shop usually soaked on door steps.I have to take pics just to cover myself as the punters think its RM door stepping

Sort of like the RM delivered packet of electronics left under a “bit of wood” (yacht rudder) in the garden, in spite of my having paid extra for a signed for delivery because I didn’t want expensive electronics left in the garden in the rain?

Funny but I’ve just read that the station master at Aberdour retired today. Always worth watching out for on that line

There used to be a joke among E’burgh taxi drivers at the airport about the London shuttle – you could tell which plane it was because when the engines stopped you could hear (the English) whining, I think the target of that joke needs changing.

Given the non-stop whine-a-thon you seem to be having, I’d disagree with that last sentence.

I can see why you’d be worried about what the mahogany looks like. The origginal set are stone and when they were on tour a couple of years ago, I picked up the SAC set which are a stone/reson mix and look and feel excellent.

…or find a football thread so you can post about how much you don’t like “wendyball”

I’ve got a Umarex/Hammerli Airmagnum if you’re in Acentral/East Scotland? Uses co2 carts, 2 off in holder, 2*10 pellet magazines, around 40 shots before the pressure drop is noticable, scope, bag and a couple of dozen carts if that’s of any interest to you. c£250.
