Yes, it’s called democratic rights so I can vote whoever I want! However I like. Yes! Are you going to tell me how to vote too or what to eat or how to live? Yes? No? I love democracy me.
Yup, democracy’s great, There are idiots and there’s a party for you/them to waste your vote on while you spout meaningless drivel about “common sense solutions”.
butchers delivery boy, proper heavy cast iron bike. best school job was in a cinema with one night a week in the projection box. picked berries for a few summers, did some bar work, first proper job was on a lifeboat
bin the wok and get one of the cheap pressed steel ones from a Chinese supermarket. Season it, look after it, it’ll be good for 4 or 5 years, then replace it.
If you feel unsafe, just carry a rolled up copy of the daily Mail. Th
You will be protected by righteousness and will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know I am the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon you.
All good. The Butt of Lewis (as far north as you can get) is like the edge of the world. I did stay at the Gatliff Trust hostel on Berneray (another ferry trip). There’s a camp site and you can use the hostel for cooking/showering. Nothing else there, but a lovely, lovely place. Causeways link the islands from Berneray to South Uist. You can ferry back to Uig from Lochmaddy on North Uist
Why don’t farmers/veg box type places offer milk direct? I get loads of local veg delivery offers but never seen one for milk?
Veg – dig it out the ground, put it in a box, sell it – No specialised equipment needed.
milk – pasteurised, homogenised, bottled then sold – specialised equipment required for all 3 stages
possible return flights to malta, 5 nights hotel with swimming pool and the padi deep diver speciality for the same price as the speciality in scapa flow.
funnily enough there was an ad for some program on one of the digital channels that she’s presenting. or something. coincidence that she sends out tweets that raise her profile a week or two before she’s on telly?
if you ignore the offensive little cretin she’ll go away. if you keep lighting up the internet with her name, you’ll keep her in work
regardless of what bliar thinks, with murfy in charge of the branch office, they;re well fecked up here and without us i can’t see them winning down there
pcworld’s great. my mum wanted a laptop so we went to pcworld and had a look. no bargains but their laptops are connected to the internet so you can check the price in argos, order one and pop down and pick it up
more HARDCORE offroading
TBH, not so much angry as much as PMSL
Still as you travel several hundred yards form the nearest beaten motorway, you’ll no doubt carry one of these, and bewtween your near-motorway and on-here advntures, it’ll get plenty of use
Yesterday I took a detour off the M62 due to snarl ups and drove over the A640. I wouldn’t have considered doing that in a Golf.
HARDCORE! I can see why you’re such an expert in off road abilities. Whilst driving a CR-V I regularly drove the A93 through Glenshee (only ever couldn’t get through when the snow gates were closed), B974 Cairn O’Mount (same). and A826 Aberfeldy-Creiff (no snpw gates so never didn’t make it),
But Rochdale – Huddersfield, that is just awesome.
fuels not great and it’s a bit slow but I bought another car I want to keep clean and the miles off so I’m happy with it. It’s a good but boring work horse.
yup, my experience. only got shot of mine when i moved to town and wanted better fuel economy
When I lived in Highland Perthshire, up a dirt track, off a B road, I drove a CR-V and guess what? It worked. Ok, not a landy but that wasn’t what I wanted or needed, and if I was to move back to the wilds, I’d probably get another one.
scotroutes nailed it. it’s a risk because you don’t know what the weather will be but that’s always the case. north coast – smoo cave near durness, well worth a visit annd take the tour if it’s on. dunnet head is the most northerly point on the uk mainland and there’s nothing there but a lighthouse and a view – well worth a visit. john o’groats is a grade A shithole but there is a passenger ferry over to south ronaldsay which offers a decent chance of seeing orca, minke whales, porpoises or dolphins. might be worth checking times to see if they fit with you
I parked in the disabled bay at Waitress once, I was just nipping in so it was OK, then as I came back to the car some snooty bitch said “you don’t look disabled to me” to which I replied “I’ll have you know I am, I’ve got Tourettes…now **** off you ****”
It’s true you know, learning disabilities aren’t as obvious as you would think
Indeed, I think screaming “EAT LESS, MOVE MORE YOU BIG FAT BASTARD IN DENIAL” works very well.
well if you thnk screaming at people doesn’t indicate mental health issues on your part, good on you. Doesn’t stop the big fat bastard from being in denial though, and that’s still something for him to deal with, probably by eating better (not neccessarily less) and moving more.
