Yep just bought a 2nd hand one from giffgaff. Couldn’t justify £50pm for another iPhone so 16 a month gets me an iPhone 8 128GB and battery great, got it in A condition too, then just 10 quid for the giffgaff pay as you go sim. £26 For a much refreshed iPhone, when battery starts struggling I’ll pay 50 from Apple to get a new one fitted

I think it was a big shock to him, it shows when you watch Wyn TV and that interview…
Wherever he goes he’s bound to kill it anyway, I agree with those saying he could see how he gets on on the Commencal bike, can’t see him moving to Atherton as reckon they’ll still want to keep it a family affair for a bit longer.

    Who knows!!

Thank you! That’s madness, I’ve just cobbled through the app and NOW it’s letting me view on Red Bull! How bizarre!!

Hmm how weird, I’m in Yorkshire and get Geo-restricted! Having to deal with BBC dull commentary…. they’re trying their best but they’ve got massive shoes to fill!

Hahaha there’s nothing worse than getting up, having a brew, scooting on insta to see the winner of the DH’s before you’ve had a chance to watch!!!

I’ve not read anything , is it official now that Red Bull won’t show all content to the UK then? Really disappointed to not get to listen to Rob and Claudio and even Claudio’s course preview… if he dared!

Hahaha the pepper people in the restaurant (when I last went to one many moons ago) weren’t as busy as the parmesan people…. when they ask if you want parmesan, it’s always yes and yes a bit more, just a bit more….go to eat your food and realise all you can taste is cheeeese!

Ha i thought I was on my own with this….asked for the biggest pepper grinder she could find last year so got a red one and it’s about 12” tall and wooden, manual and I love it! Always wanted one after seeing waiters/resses asking if you want pepper!

Wow really interesting to hear others suffering with similar and worse, I hoped it’d be the case. I also had swollen sinuses and sinus pain back when it was it’s worst but that disappeared after the champion two days of snot blowout.

Right now I feel absolutely fine apart from just having to clear my throat just then…but you can guarantee I’ll wake up with a very slight sore throat and be clearing it again and need to drink more water than usual to clear it. Does sound like it’s possibly actual hayfever then… I do live rurally and there’s lots of farming going on around here at the moment so does make sense!!

Hope everyone else’s symptoms clear up, it’s not stopping me doing anything apart from seeing my dad for his birthday as didn’t want to pass what I had on…but sounds like just one of those things I’ll have to live with and get my dads birthday booked back in, can’t wait til winter then!!

I should’ve mentioned, I have none allergic rhinitis too which means I have to take hayfever pills twice a day or symptoms like a cold just come back.

I manage it so long as I keep taking them, but hayfever was a good shout!

Pisses me off too, our receptionist went for a last minute deal to Rhodes…. why would you even bloody risk it! She’s mid 50’s too and probably even quite at risk, it’s saying something when me at 37 seem to be more switched on than someone old enough to be my **** grandma!!

Yes we are, people are morons…..more bothered about trying to return to normal as soon as possible and forget COVID when it’s very apparent that it’s very much still about…. then again the more they do, and the way they do it means if we work the opposite way to them we can live quite comfortably and safely.

As far as I’m concerned, whoever wants to flout it can do, so long as I’m nowhere near them or interacting with them That’s fine by me

Glad it’s not just me, working in my home office with no top on. Today i would happily trade this feeling for 20 degree air conditioned rooms!!
We’re in the process of moving into a 2nd house so my desk is currently a garden table minus the parasol!

Have I been unlucky as I too bought a TBS bleeding edge adaptor and it’s been crap for me. There’s no defined click as I can’t push it in by hand and have to use pliers, the tool to operate is so stiff to open and close I again have to use pliers!
Not lost any fluid and it has worked but it’s take a fiddly job to a whole new level.
I’ve messaged them on eBay where I bought from to see what they say so will update on any feedback. It got me thinking I wish I’d got the proper SRAM one!

I have to reply to this for sure!
My lass has a T130 but the Alu SR version, getting the dropper cable replaced was such a faff! Made worse as it’s an XS frame so everything’s small on it!!

What problem are you having? Trying to get the cable back out the internal routing? We had the same drama, it’s literally just the case of prodding, poking twisting until you see it, then with the most delicate touch pull it through.

The fun bit is then getting the rubber weather seal bungs back on, damn they’re tight!!

We’re just renovating a 4 bed house and thinking of NEST, now thinking it might not be the right idea or Is this just an isolated case? Would want no heating at night and in the winter to come on at 5 and off at 8 . At the moment we have a wireless control and just put it up from 15 when it gets a bit cold….this learning function sounds like it could be expensive while it “learns”

Couple of great suggestions, thanks. Doesn’t even have to be cycling related if it’s a great watch, the skateboarding one sounds like a good watcher!

Mattress toppers have helped me! Well sort of! I used to have an ortho mattress from back issues.

Then when I moved in with now fiancée her bed was sooo much harder, I can’t sleep on it as too from so got a mattress topper from asda and also have a duvet underneath that. NOW it’s comfy enough and not too overpadded or hot

Also maybe a factor is beforehand they could probably build 5 bikes a day somewhere and they’re now more like 1 1/2 maybe as there are less staff with some being furlowed? Might be off the mark but just a suggestion.

Yes I can believe that because cycling is all people can do aside from walk, the demand will skyrocket

She really does sound like a serious bellend, moaning at you driving a diesel yet she drives every day in a town where she probably could bike…

Your mate needs to suggest to her that you both have your own friend groups and you meeting up is just a lad thing…. if she does turn up then just spend the night reminiscing your best fart stories….I’m sure there’s a few, she’s sure to not invite herself next time. Realistically that’s probably not what will happen but it’d be good if it did!!

I’ve decided that because I can work from home that I’m taking the opportunity to get fitter and leaner, always started doing weights then just stopped so now doing Yoga with the missus and then my own kettlebell workout. Only in the first week so early days yet but just doing it gradually because rushing and going too full on just damages a body that’s not ready for it

Oh seriously it’s been so annoying, people probably buying 3 packs a time just because they want to do baking etc… we had to get some donated to us from my Lasses NHS work colleagues as we couldn’t find it ourselves AND it’s gluten free we need!

I understand the mental health aspects of the argument, however I definitely don’t understand these big house parties and bbq’s and now the people that are dying I can imagine if you were to trace it back you’d find a lot are because of the reckless nature of others that said “it’s fine and I feel alright so I’m still going out”

Tragic really that some people are such morons……

I guess you don’t have it then. So wouldn’t think like that? You’ve been tested have you? The words” anyone could have it, anyone can spread it” couldn’t be clearer from the government.

Alpin: yes that is stupid…. your gf should’ve been stopped and fined and ordered to go back home, and it’s your blaze’ attitude that other people also have and you’re ruining it for those who just want this over.

Now isn’t a time to rebel, it’s a time to join…. the longer people keep acting like fools the longer this will continue. My missus works on the frontline, I’m hearing all the truths the government aren’t telling you. This isn’t school anymore it’s a request from your own government ffs… You can have absolutely NO symptoms and you can then pass it onto someone who dies from it…. think. Please.

Don’t put SPD’s on for getting your bunnyhopping nailed, fact of the matter is you’ll just learn bad technique if you’re just pulling up…and it looks shit too!

    Invest in some coaching

Yes if my neighbours were having a big gathering (they’re not) I would also report them.

It’s just wrong and they’re gambling with their damn life’s, it boils my blood that some people just aren’t serious about it….

We bought another house and we were spending every weekend there doing DIY…. since the lockdown because it’s not essential we are not going back, the place is locked fully so we have to wait for this to pass!!

Anyone going out more than once a day are playing with OTHER people’s lives!

Sorry to hear that, I think that’ll make me go easier if I get out for 1/2 hr over lunch…..as I’ve been working to try and bring down the time it takes me to do the 6 mile loop I do, down to 22 mins on the roadie whereas I should just relax and appreciate being able to be out and not seeing a sole while out….keep safe everyone

Thank you to every front line worker out there! My fiancée is a radiographer xraying C19 patients and her trust sent around an email yesterday saying PPE is running low…. it’s a fearful time as we’ve seen the results of inadequate PPE

Can I just add in, have your looked at the Asgard sheds? They really are brilliant, make one hell of a noise if anyone tries to attack it, having that in a secured garage is a killer combo

Also get a shotgun and when caught, blow their heads off…. I hate thieves and have no sympathy at all after being stolen for before we decided to get the Asgard

I totally agree, the longer you are outside the higher risk you’re being to yourself AND OTHERS! Think about others! ……just as a sobering thought for everyone….my lass works in ICU and so far they have had 70 people in ICU….all died, not a single one survived it! So maybe think about how important those miles really are to you? Is keeping your fitness up really worth the risk!!!

My fiancée works in the NHS As a Radiographer in direct contact with some of these positive tested patients for C19. She’s absolutely wiped out from what she’s seeing, pretty harrowing sights and I’m also very scared she gets it or brings it home.
She broke down in tears the other night saying she expects she will get it she just doesn’t want to die from it…
