He might be able to get cash in lieu and have it repaired himself ,i work in a body shop and have seen this a few times if the cars in good nick but the insurers dont want the hassel of repairing it and hire car charges

I think the leave em to it idea is a good one but personally I think that IS would not be happy until they spread there ideals to many other countries as they hold Western way of life with such disdain, maybe this problem if left to it self could be even closer to home than it is now .Very sad and difficult times are ahead

@singlespeedstu is that kinver by any chance?I do 90% of my rides in and around there and I am considering a fat bike due to the beach like conditions in some areas

Removing IS will just spawn another terrorist bandwagon for these very wrong people I say loosely to jump on ,I can’t see how the world can put an end to the division in culture and the way we want to live versus there ideal I can from my point of view see this getting worse for everyone I hope I am wrong RIP Alan a good man

As above check the universal joints at the bottom of the steering column done quite a few over the years symptoms are heavy steering and a reluctance to self centre when going back to the straight ahead position after turning

Proof is everything when making a claim the management companies and insurers are truly soulless its just money to them its very frustrating trying to help genuine people to get the service they pay for

I am an estimator in a body shop and deal with these companies a lot ,I would recommend you go with your insurers management scheme as they will get your claim sorted quicker most of these management companies make there money from long drawn out credit hire on courtesy cars and inflated labour rates hope this helps

Hi i worked for both quantum and wesfield for a 12 year period building the factory built cars and would say that using a westfield regulary would be hardwork as already said the quantums i built were as useable as any production cars you could even fit towbars for bike racks if i were t buy a second hand kit car my choice would be a gtm libra all the fun with a bit of comfort also if u like seven style cars look at the quantum xtreme
