Broad beach is the middle part of the stretch of beach I believe. Nobla is a really small flat sandy section right next to the headland.

I can’t remember what it was called either. We used to go surfing there at uni.

+1 for the warlock. Absolutely love mine

Just about fits some 27.5×2.2 Maxxis ikons in it too which is brilliant.

Try moving the derailleur cage by hand it should feel stiff but smooth through its travel. If it feels jerky or rough something definitely not right. Does flicking the lever actually turn the clutch off? It’s possible to assemble the cam the wrong way round which can cause it to jam up I believe.

The service uses such a small amount of grease there should be nothing coming out.

I like the Pro Gravel tape. I’ve got cinelli camo on atm which I also like. it’s a basic foamy style tape. Zipp Service Course is really nice too.

By far the worst I’ve tried is Lizard Skins DSP. Slippery when wet. Wears out very quickly. Doesn’t wrap nicely at all.

Ah makes sense! Would have known that if I read your OP properly 😜

Check out the geometries using geometrygeeks.bike really good for comparing little differences between a few frames.

Just wondering what you are wanting the Mehteh to do that the Vulture or 29er wont? Seems a little like you’re filling a gap that isn’t really there?

I mean n+1 and all that, no reason not to if you want it. Just a thought.

I’ve got a warlock. Only ridden it once since I finished building it last week but it’s bloomin fantastic. I’ve got it setup with 27.5 X 2.2 tyres

Seen it once before also in the menai straits.
Was surfing one of the tidal waves at night and each time the front end of my boat caught the water it threw them in the air like little shooting stars. So amazing.

SX will do in a pinch but don’t expect it to last too long. The mech is almost entirely plastic except the cage, so the linkage parts develop play quickly. It’s a lot lighter than NX though!

I’m not sure on the mech compatibilites. But what about a trp hylex brakeset with the di2 adapter that allows you to run a climbing shifter on the inside of the lever.

I was thinking of doing that on my upcoming build but now waiting on stock of some SRAM bits due to cost of the di2 stuff.

I was looking into this recently building my gravel bike. This wolftooth guide was very helpful…

I was looking at one. Can’t help with how it rides as I went with a Fearless Warlock instead. Which looks not too dissimilar in geometry.

Don’t know how that rides either as I’ve not built it up yet. So not a helpful post really 😂

Do a mini bleed. I do them fairly often and never have a problem fitting new pads.

    Acepac?

I’ve got their bike packing bag and harness which is really good. This can be mounted on top of that or on its own. Not tried one, but they look good and the build quality of my other acepac stuff is excellent.

Have a look at Rozone. We use one at work. No idea if the fluid will work in normal washers as it’s warmed in their own units, but it uses little microbes to eat the oil and grease. As far as I know it’s all environmentally friendly.

    It’s very effective though!

mboy, based on that I’m going to try a Smith. That could be an exact description of my bonce!

Is this fit specifically the forefront? Or a general characteristic of Smith? I’m after a roadie helmet too.

Elite Direto in stock at Wiggle.
Wahoo Kickr Core comes into stock pretty often on their own website.

I had a pair of gerbils as a kid. Went in one day to see that one of them had murdered the other leaving a gory red mess in the corner. It wasn’t a pretty sight. I didn’t like the other one after that.

    Shadow of Mordor?
Combat quite like AC. But I prefer it. Very satisfying as once you get the hang of the controls any number of orcs are no problem. Just the captains etc take a bit of planning. Great fun.

It’s crashed multiple times on my One X. Annoying, but the game seems great otherwise. Hopefully a patch fixes the bugs soon.

Or are lucky enough to have shoe shaped feet!

That’s because you’ve been cramming your feet into them for as long as you’ve been wearing shoes.
It’s far from a natural shape.

    Destiny 2?
It’s got a few smaller campaigns built in with the expansion packs. They’re all on Xbox game pass currently. Not sure if they are on the PlayStation equivalent.

It’s a bit of a ‘grind for the best gear’ game, but you don’t have to do that to enjoy the game. I’ve happily spent a fair few hours on there just shooting stuff.

Or try those electrolyte tabs. I found they worked for me when I was riding a lot more.

Fun with a power kite and a big beach.
Tried it downhill once. Didn’t try it again.
