Pretty sure that soap comes from Home Bargains. TK Max is the place for posh soap!

I have a 2011 Spicy with an RP2 shock. Both tunes are on low. Its not hugely sensitive to small bumps, but other than that its okay. I’ve been considering sticking a volume shim in to adjust the spring rate for small bumps, but have yet to buy them!

Having said that… The rebound in mine is up to full, so could just be the compression that’s a bit out

    Tesco!

“Blimey, that’s a bit steep for all that! How about the lot for £60 if I use my own bags?”

I did exactly the opposite. Sat near the back chatting and enjoying myself. Then when everyone has thinned out after the first descent start crawling your way back up the ranks.
Its all about the chatting to random people on the climbs!

I found myself on my own for some bits. The back is definitely the place to be!

Take it back to the shop.
Try leaving bike upside down overnight.

Kids? Pfft. I occasionally play myself.

I like it just for wasting a bit of time and just building random stuff. Its quite fun working out how to build complex machines too (there is a simple electrical system on it that allow you to use logic gates for circuits).

Id probably play more if my computer could handle it better.

Stans sealant in a normal tube for thorns.
Latex I think is supposed to be more pinch resistant. They aren’t.

    Go tubeless.

I think this occurred pre birth, so not awful, but could have been!

My mum used to be a district children’s nurse. One family she visited had a son which was the reason she was there. But she was also heavily pregnant. My mum asks if they have a name and they proudly stated “Chlamydia”. Apparently they decided on the name a while ago because it sounds pretty. They were completely ignorant of the real meaning of the word.

If you have a chain device the noise will probably be the chain whacking sideways into that.

My uberbike resin ones are great. They do squeal when wet tho. Race matrix ones will be going in next.

Iolo. If it was episode 1, then you are excused.

How old is your chain? I find the rings are quite dependent on the chain not being overly worn.

It shouldn’t be about time. Is your caliper directly below the lever?
Tried opening the nipple a bit more?

If it doesnt work still. Replace the bag for a syringe and pull the fluid through. Or just skip the step. I never see any bubbles with this step anyway.

Why would anyone want a litter tray in the house? Dogs go outside. So why cant cats?
My parents’ 13 year old cat has never had one. No cat flap either. It asks to go out and then just waits outside till the door is opened again.

Print off the trail map and choose the best bits.
1.4, 1.5 make 1 good descent. 1.6 is switchback climbs with pedally bit after. 1.7 is hard, pedally, and very open. 1.1 and 1.2 are very pedally singletrack. 1.3 is slightly downhill with a bit of up. 1.8 is good pedally descent with a nice fast bit at the end. 1.9 and 1.10 are closed for felling, but look at the map and choose a different way down.

Numbers relate to the singletrack number, not the signpost markers. 1.1 is the first singletrack, 1.2 the second, etc)

Loop 1 is never as wet as loop 2 which turns into a river. But if you want an easy bail out option if you get tired/cold, don’t do loop 2 as it takes you a fair way away from everywhere. You can roll back to the village from anywhere on loop 1.

Marin will be drier. but lots more fireroad.

You will end up compromising on grip severely when using flat pedals, and the cleats with rub on the pedal body…

Just buy 2 pairs of shoes.

Did something similar. Was with canoes tho rather than bikes.

We have a courtyard sort of driveway with the garage opposite the house. Have a couple of washing lines strung between the two. Started reversing out. Line was left hanging down and heard a bang.
Thought “bugger, just pulled the washing line out the wall.” Got out and it had ripped one roof bar completely off the car and bent the other one at the attachment points.

TLDR… Washing lines are actually quite strong. Don’t drive at them.

    Another vote for Baxter’s chutneys.
Spiced fruit one will be gone in a week. Victorian one pretty good too.
Yet to try the caramelised onion.

Or sweet chilli sauce is another favourite.

Only when I don’t have rediculous quantities of mayo tho.

Took me a a little while too. Tho I had done some MTB touring stuff with clips before so not completely new. Had been a few years tho.

I have M162 with M530 pedals. So no extra platform when actually clipped in. Biggest thing to get used to for me, coming from a five ten flat pedal background, was the float. Felt a bit loose and sloppy in the corners. But it gives much more confidence on jumps and bumpy bits as you mention.

Mostly used to the float now and have slowly increased the spring tension to max.

As somone mentioned previously… I think a lot of it is a mind set sort of thing. You end up riding stuff with much more confidence as you dont want to have to stop and unclip and steep rocky bits.

Anything by Osprey. Smaller size viper or raptor?

MULE will probably fit your specification. But I’m not a massive fan of camelbak stuff.
