Most people on here have probably had one at some point. I’ve had 2. A 456 SS and now an inbred 29er. Both fantastic. Especially the inbred.

Some friends of mine have just been out to do it. Its on my to-do list… if we ever get any rain so I can go and practice!

From what they said, the water isn’t mega hard, it’s just big volume and chunky. Just looks like an epic trip!

Impressed with my Conti X King 2.4

They do a 2.2 I believe. Its on an inbred tho, not a Stanton!

^^ Considering it works no differently to a compressor or a ghetto inflator, I highly doubt it was the Airshot. Sounds like your tyre was already buggered or he somehow wrecked it himself.

What’s the sizing like? I’m a 38 chest. Is the sizing chart pretty accurate?

Let it down to 10 psi and ride it round some fast corners.

I have a conti xking 2.4 on the from of mine. Set up tubeless and run at 20 psi.

Mine is just the cheap compound, but actually very grippy!

Did you ever use the KSVAZ code? On my account it seems like that code has stuck onto the basket without having to enter the code. Its great!

Just built up a rigid 29er with 1×10 gears.
I spent a bit over 500 building it up. But its all brand new except the frame and the chain, cassette, and cranks which came off my full sus when I upgraded them.

I have ridden my full sus once since getting the rigid and thats only because it was mid headset swap. I went to pick the car up from the garage. Hasnt been out again since.

I’ve been taking it down dh tracks an everything I normally ride the fs on. Might as well sell it!

Some of those shimano chest harness style bags on sport pursuit at the moment. Never tried one but look quite good.

I have an osprey viper 13 but wouldnt.mind trying a chest harness sort for a bit more stability.

My parents did it with a jet wash as a pump. Think the motor over heated a couple of times tho. But it worked. Hose pipe straight out the window.

Why do all your really long hoses and cables go down the same side?

    Shudders

Yep. As mentioned… Its missing a rubber seal.

Id definitely be back in the shop getting them to re press the cups with the logos straight. Awful.

Troy Lee gloves for gloves that last

I Would say the exact opposite… Had some, fell apart in a few weeks. Royal gloves have always been great. had a pair for 3 years now and another couple that I bought in a CRC sale. Also got some POC ones that are great, but a bit hot for summer.

ESI grips were a disappointment after all the positive reviews. Spun on the bars and shredded themselves after one off.

SRAM drivetrains (not tried the 11 speed stuff) can never get it set up right and requires constant adjustments. Shimano stuff is fit and forget.

    Did you do a search?
There are many threads that mostly recommend the DHB ones from Wiggle.

I have some, they are good.

They do take a while to respond! I had some socks missing from my order I placed a while ago. It took almost a week for the email to get to a real person. Tho I did have an automated acknowledgment of email receipt and another one when they forwarded the email to someone else.

From my experience. Almost every order they have sent me has been wrong somehow, but in fairness every one has been corrected without too much of a delay.

I was hoping the new barcoded stock system would sort this, but evidently not.

No snapping. But the linkage isn’t the hardiest. Had bolts snap twice and the rear articulation bushing wears into the frame causing side to side play. Its great to ride, but i wouldnt buy another.

Just fitted one to my 29er. Looks good. Not used it yet.
If its as good as my Works one on other bike I’ll be happy.

Hope on the other hand.. Had one of their standard single rings. Worst one for longevity out of renthal, e.thirteen, and race face ones also tried.

We did one in the Durance gorge just out of L’Argentierre La Bessee nr Briancon. Some bits like easy climbing grades. I’m a climber and had to stop to think about a few bits. We did jump straight on the black one tho.

Any with the flexible rubber arms with wire in so you can shape them to how you want.
    Dhb pro ones have it.

    That will be the stiffness.

Mine were a revelation when I got them. Now on SPD and that’s a whole other level of all day comfort!
