They are fantastic for the money! I got mine in a sale around Christmas last year for £140. They don’t seal tubeless quite as easy as Stans, but the flip is they are a bit easier to put tyres on.

Mine are still true after almost a year of riding rocky North Wales stuff on a hardtail.

It does have an allen key hole in the end, but i never need to use it. As long as everything is greased up, it just seems to stay put.

It can sometimes spin a bit, but even just pushing on it with your finger is enough for it to all tighten up

    Same axle on my Vantage.

The first link is the bolt that goes on the non drive side, that sits on its own, the second link is like a compression collar (its got a split on mine tho). That goes on the same side as the handle, and just sits in the hole on the frame.

Make sure its all clean and greased when you fit it, makes it much easier to tighten properly.

valves, sealant, and tape pretty much covers it.

Might need an inflator. But track pump can work too. Or a CO2 canister to seat the bead , then empty out and fill with track pump again as apparently sealant doesn’t like CO2

    The softshell?
    It’s cheaper on Merlin.

Its size specific. But some very good prices if you have a look through and find something in your size. Got a couple of craft baselayers and some morvelo bib shorts and jersey pretty cheap!

didnt get the code working tho

I find spray stuff never works on me. Try the white stick stuff; works much better. And give Mitchum a go! Often on offer in the big T.

Don’t base the sizing on the ETT whilst comparing to other bikes. Its supposed to be longer. My large Mondraker is much longer than most XL bikes. I wouldn’t want a smaller one!

Its not too hard to find the route. Its on OS maps. But it wont be easy! Big hill!

Should be fine! Seals stop the fluid getting out so they wont be damaged by it.

And I doubt it damaged the piston unless you were gouging at it with tools.

Try the German websites got BC’s on one for about £20. Cheaper Conti’s not that great.

I wouldn’t go Conti again though. Have deformed carcasses, torn sidewalls, splits in the tread. Shame as their tread patterns and rubber are brilliant.

Mines not either! Just lots of text.

Few other sites doing the same.

Different spring rate causes the damper to behave differently depending on where the fork is in its travel.

Ive got no tokens in mine. I put 1 in and it was acting similar to how you describe. Took it straight out again.

    DHL hand over to Parcelforce

My forks stayed with DHL on this side. I guess it depends where they’re going or what service they used?

    Howies Dyffi?

Anyone seen them in stock anywhere recently? I guess they are discontinued. Anything similar out there??

I used a bike bag so was happier putting other stuff in there. Weight wise they were perfectly happy to take it. Even when on the way back it was 31.5kg!

Up to you based on how strong you think the box is!

I find it fantastic to climb on.

They only sell them on PlanetX website. Not OnOne. For some reason?! They are tubeless ready as well!

Maybe aggressive is a better term! I managed the Dyfi Enduro in reasonable comfort on mine having thought id have mega neck ache at the end! Much comfier than my old Lapierre. Im still getting used to the length. Mainly in how confidence inspiring it is as long as you consciously have your weight a bit further forward.

I had a 2.4 Conti trail king on the front which I have just replaced with a chunky monkey. It looks disappointingly narrow compared to the trail king. But i completely mangled the rear 2.2 TK in a few rides. The 2.4 carcass is much stiffer for some reason. Just for reference tho, the 2.4 will just about fit in the back! Which is cool!

I reckon it will feel ‘racey’!!
I got a large at 6′ tall. Its fine. Could probably have gone even bigger!

No idea about 160’s. Ive got pikes on mine.

Been riding mine a while now and I love it. Way more fun than my spicy before. Fantastic on steep trails. And actually faster for me too. Will but a pic up later, I’m using 20mm Renthal risers and a few spacers under stem with 150 forks. Just about high enough now.

Mine came with DT swiss axle, stem, and headset. Headset needed pressing in. The axle also has a couple of loose parts so careful not to lose them. And grease it all up. Makes it much smoother to put in and tighten.

^^Sounds alot like Hermes. Do you live rurally and have a local parcel man who does parcels for a few couriers?

Our Hermes man normally turns up about 10PM.

Runs on O2. I’m on it.
Signal in N Wales is okay. But the signal that is there, isn’t of good quality. Just voice/text. No chance of any internet!

The network itself… no issues! it works as a pay as you go package deal. so you buy minutes and text etc. rather than credit (which you can also put on).
Can be set to auto-recur. But still free to change what you use each month.

Will send you a referral link off the forum and we both get extra credit!

The Deore brakes I put on my rigid bike feel much better than both sets of SLX I have had. Don’t know why. I’d go Deore every time now. Or Zee!
