I’ve got the same shock and really like it BUT it feels very different from the monarch plus I had before. With the monarch at 30% sag I was about 190psi on the debonair plus I’m at near 300 psi it feels great but even on drops 2/3 foot it does use the last 10mm (160mm rear travel) so I stripped the shock and mine has no bands in because my plan was to remove them if your bottoming out the shock add bands if not don’t and follow page 27 of the manual about pressureising the shock up in stages and pumping the shock through its travel at each stage…

I’m struggling to find it now but on a German “enduro” online mag thing I seen a proper machine breaking point test.
Some of the batch results are shocking… If my memory serves crank bros snapped with a damp fart and I think renthal didn’t break upto the test rigs max pressure… I’ll keep looking!!!

Cloud 23 for the views, Northern quarter for lots of small trendy bars ( my pal owns noho and dusk till porn (both a great choice), castlefield if it’s summer, don’t bother with deansgate not been the place to go for years… Castlefield locks are manly student bars but ok for choice. Spinning fields is good loads of choice and good bars

Watched the vid in the link… My thinking is even with that level of flex its hugely better than the 0% chin protection I have with my regular lid, also that mount of energy loss it should def save my jaw/teeth.

I had a met parachute but couldn’t get on with the sizes M too small and L too big even with the different size pads. My pal has the normal bell super in a L and it feels great and my noodle is 59cm

I’ve got a 6 and an I pad… No idea where in my house the I pad is its been that long since I’ve bothered with it.
It’s getting old so the soft wear cannot be update to the same as my 6 so the differences are annoying. Don’t bother

There is a guy on e bay (I’ll have a look if I can find it) any way he’s Scottish and his e bay items always have Scottish flag in the pic…
He’s tests all the battery’s he sells and rates them against cost… Worth having a look I’ve always had great service off him.
P.s he says anything with “fire” in the name is Chinese rubbish

real world: 15 year old basic polo… Specific oil my a##e… What would be worse incorrect viscosity or no oil or oil that’s not be changed for 3 years…

    chrisdiesel

As above… 15 year old polo put what ever is cheapest you don’t need full or semi syth… To be fare most people don’t check nor top up so your already on a winner with what ever you find in Tesco bargin bin.
Changing every 6k or 12 months is far more important… (On a car of that age) without a turbo/super charger or modern high pressure diesel….

I’ve got the debonair plus, changed from a monarch plus, 160mm travel on a zesty. It’s good but very different from anything I’ve had before rp2/rp23/monarch/kash rp23 boost hv. It feels like a coil shock the air pressure to get the correct sag is HUGE… But still feels good on small stuff just strange. TBH I’ve been away or busy so not yet rode it enough to judge properly but I was really impressed with the monarch plus that I had before.

In a similar fashion I’ve seen a badly/wrongly fitted phone kit that caused the wipers the active when the phone rang. The radio is/has a normal fuse BUT if it is can network then those two wires won’t be…
The main point is if the fault was or wasn’t present before the radio install. Good luck.

Sorry that ment to read “isn’t fused conventionally”

    chrisdiesel

Without knowing if it’s can bus or conventional electrical architecture. But What ever is causing the issue is very possibly going to damage the electrical system of the car of its shorting out the can network to the main frame computer (also controls the headlights) that network is fused conventionly and “spiking” can and will kill it causing non starts and or any other faults (read dealer only very expensive)

The latest euro 6 cars are so complex to pass regulations I cannot see small diesel engines lasting for (still being produced) for the next 3/5 years… Big 2.0L stuff will still last in luxury stuff but petrol mpg has come on so much with 3 cylinder vvc turbo changed 150bhp and relatively simple technology and repair!!!
I still prefer the drive of a diesel but with now 3 separate exhaust filters (pre cat/PDF/add blue filter and the issues of injectors running at 2000 bar of pressure and customer having to top up add blue between services it’s becoming a huge PITA…

Your fine. As above unless you plan to short circuit some thing. Just what for 5 mins after the ignition was switched off (Bsi going into sleep mode) then your fine. Depending on model and year your channel display won’t work unless you bought the correct interface ?

Ford transit/fiat/citroen/Peugeot in 2.2 engine from the past 4 years all use the same engine (puma) not a bad engine but the engines are ford made and body/electrical is fiat….
All used ones have 100 k plus miles and most suffer from poor history Courior vans or hard driving couldn’t care less company vans….. At 3k range I really wouldn’t to be spending time and money into a conversation.
For example we have a high top LWB for sale non runner with 250k with poor body work and non runner (suspect timing chain stretched) for £2000+ not a van you would want to invest in….

I love conti tyres especially rubber queen/trail kings but I’ve had 3 new tyres badly warped when fitted 1 was so bad that it touched the frame when the wheel was span.
Next day tyres where great and exchanged them for me but did say conti tyres where bad for being warped.
Even the one I have fitted now isn’t great…
It’s worth checking before using it.

I orded mine from some bike shop in German off e bay. I’ve Gone 160mm both ends now on my zesty with a pike up front. Very different from the 2014 monarch plus I had previously. Was running 185 psi in the monarch plus now 250+ in the debonair plus at 30% sag. The air can is huge even compared to the HV monarch plus. Best way I can describe it is it feels like a coil shock. Very smooth and liner. But doesn’t feel a perfect match to the pike like the monarch did.
I’ve only ridden it 2/3 times yet so early days…

Been enduro 2 twice, great trails and accommodation. Mikes a great guide and all round decent guy. Love the village that it’s based in good food and bars. Riding this July was a lot more sketchy because a huge storm washed away all the years of trail wear and generally filled the trails with sticks. But still loved it.

Wrecker, his doc is London based and does his client visits in a new Lamborghini. Aparently he cannot supply enough to the rich and famous who see growth hormone as some kind of elixir of youth?

    chrisdiesel

Wrecker : in answer to your question yes it is crazy expensive £800+ per month plus steriods plus regular blood tests etc. And doing his own blood sugar tests every other morning. As some one above said I know an ex pro body builder who took growth for years and now has pain in his hands and feet at the joints/nuckles apparently it is a well know side affect of excessive growth hormone. Same as gigantism.
I don’t agree or condone with it. but how many people in the world have been using steriods since the 1950s and died from it? And how many died from drinking or smoking.

I’ve known plenty of friends that have used in different degrees most have got much bigger and felt great then came off a course (6/8 weeks)and lost most of the size and felt like shit and then had to take an anti estrogen drugs and drugs to kick start your body’s natural testosterone again. I’ve got a pal that’s 40+ so his natural testosterone is very limited and he has a private doc that gives him test every two weeks plus growth hormone. He’s lived in the US where low testosterone and growth hormone levels are treated as an illness. I.e Stallone got caught with both going into OZ by customs!!! His opinion is no one lives forever and why shouldn’t he be able to look great and feel great and not feel tired with the testosterone and growth levels of a 21 year old. My opinion is as long as you read and understand the pros and cons. Your an adult and you make your own choice.

Would de value the car hugely and possibly make it unsafe in a crash. It will have strengthen cross members on the roof that would need chopping to fit a decent side sunroof.
