I’ve got the same debonair shock (on a different bike) and spoke to sram about the set up/pressures. I normaly run about 25% sag in the rear but could never use all the travel even on big drops. sram advised 35% and it feels spot on now. The air pressure is a lot higher than the non debonair monarch I had before.

Ive got the new bell super 2R mips, no idea if it’s better or
Not but after landing on my face I went full face and if for the extra price of a meal out I can protect my noodle better then I’m in. I did read about mips and even if it’s only a slight improvement I’ll take it.

I’ve got Mavic crossmax sx wheels and I contacted Mavic direct and you cannot buy the MP3 warrenty unless the selling dealer is a “special” dealer…
Weird I know… In the end I paid about £80 more to buy from a dealer that I could use their dealer code to register and buy my MP3 warrenty…
Not used my warrenty yet but I’m sure I will before the 3 year is out!!!

Seen this a few times… Battery or starter most recent few have been starter obviously check the main engine earth and live to the starter but the found the bearings in the starter partially seized causing slow turn over/slow rise in fuel pressure and slow starting. Worse when cold. But gradually got worse to the point it failed to start.

Part refund or a tank of fuel, BUT my main worry would be that the poor quality of the repair will raise its head again later and won’t be admitted to my the garage… maybe get them to pay for another garage or main dealer to inspect the quality of the repair.

Maybe a bent hanger? I’ve got a 2013 zesty ( same frame) running 10 speed and 40t on the rear, set up no problem.

    Regards how different are they?
I had rock bent my formula rotors and bought the floating superstar rotors when they where on 50% sale over Xmas.
I don’t notice any difference apart from they run true and no brake rub, unlike my bent ones.
For the vain types they look good too.
Would have cost me more to replace with standard type formula ones.

I’ve got the new style floating rotors 203mm and 180mm on new pikes with formula brakes. I was worried when I ordered I was concerned but fitted perfect. Very please with them. Be sure to put a drop of lock tight. Mine came loose at first. Suspect soft paint on the rotor was the cause or extra thickness but lock tight cured

Tried it a few times and also spades even more expensive I think. Genuinely all tastes like £4 aldi sparking wine to me.
The fact the clubs I’ve had it in bringing it with musical fanfare and sparklers is why 99.9% of people drink it in clubs it’s a big look at how rich I am.

I’m bias, but I prefer the pug/citroen engined dispatches than the boxer/relay ford engined vans. If you do go towards the dispatch and your doing big m/way miles the 2.0L 6 speed is a nicer drive. 1.6 is a great engine just a big van with a small engine if your carrying weight or have a heavy right foot

Lexus “works” the way I explained above please correct me if I’m wrong buy a penus works by a small petrol engine running almost constantly to recharge the battery.

always makes me laugh when people argue about How amazing hybrids are quoting Prius and the like and the perceived benefits… Real world Economy is very low and imagine the Economy in our wet/cold country…
When I’ve had to explain to people why they are not getting good milage per charge (fully electric) or poor MPG and hybrid and they look at me in surprise when I explain that lights/heating/heated rear screen/heated seats etc all need to be powered from something and that any electrical load will drastically reduce mpg. Yes the same is true of “normal” cars but obviously much less of an issue in milder climates. Most decent systems use a parallel type I.e Diesel engine powers front wheels and battery powers rear wheels obviously 3 phase charging from an altanator and also charging from rear wheel motors on de acceleration. Believe me it’s much more complex and to make 2 power sources power one vehicle and make the auto gear box changes feel smooth and seamless isn’t “less complex”

All the customers that we sell to are to take advantage of tax rules that means they can have a hybrid 2.0 turbo diesel top of the range for the same level of to as a bog standard smaller engine.
The idea is great but battery tech needs to move on for a private buyer to feel any benefit. People’s perseption of how far a car will drive on battery’s alone is WAY WAY lower then they want. And the extra weight and loss of space and increase in repair costs is a factor too.
I’m a huge fan of diesel but the new turbo petrol engines are going to kill diesel/hybrid for the short term future.
1.2 three cylender petrol turbo and 150 BHP from an engine the size of a go kart is impressive. And in most cases huge savings on the purchase price and no difference on economy unless your a 60k per year driver…

Sorry pal, just realised your 514 is carbon and internally routed. I’ve got a 414 and the stealth runs out of the bottom of the seat stay near the BB and because I’m running 1/10 I use the cable guide for the front mech to loop the reverb cable under the frame. Again full carbon may be very different.

Got mine last week, rode with it Saturday for the first time. Really liked it. I got a large and it was spot on and didn’t get hot or really notice the chin guard after a while. After face planting once going half quickly and not able to stop my face hitting the deck. I liked the idea of the extra protection.

I work for Peugeot/citroen due to block exception servicing outside dealer group will not invalidate the warranty… BUT!!!
You have it service by an independent and the Ecu has a fault that causes the particle filter to not regenerate for instance… And they don’t notice/fix it/send you to a dealer for it… And the particle filter dies… £££ I could look into the Ecu historically and find at the service the Ecu fault codes wasn’t read. Then your warrenty is invalid because you haven’t carried out the servicing properly because the garage hasn’t carried out the SERVICE MANDATORY operations.
Also say the turbo dies a few months outside warrenty… The first thing they look at it’s full dealer history. If not that’s the very first reason for refusal.
Nothing wrong with indipendents, some fanatic ones out there, but they all tell you it won’t cause warrenty issues but I deal with problems like this daily.

I use trail king UST black chilli front and rear 2.4f 2.2r fantastic grip great tyre but as others have said inconstant quality, I’ve had terrible sealer leaks in brand new tyres and buckles that rubbed the frame in others… But still stick with them bacause of how they feel. Next day tyres or bike discount

You should just be very happy that the timing chain hasn’t stretched and become noisy and running poorly also the injectors havnt leaked and snapped off in the head… Flat and GM…. To change the timing chain you have to remove the engine and gearbox… Terrible idea

Older low miles with history. Older vans won’t have as many issues with EGR, turbo, duel mass flywheels and injector or particle filters

My noodle is also about 59cm I ordered both M and L… M was just a bit too tight and the chain bar felt high and chin was out below it… And the large would have fitted my big arse head plus a cowboy hat and still have room… Sent both back and got a large bell super 2r that fits perfect.

Small 3 cylinder turbo petrol is getting very close to diesel Economy and near in power @ 120/150 bhp but no where near as nice to drive in the real world… For that kind of mileage diesel is still much nicer drive!!! Sadly diesel is dieing…
