I’ve no clue about women’s boxing but her attitude and constantly happy smiling face is what I like about her.

Thanks for all replies, started at 8am Saturday, car park empty and didn’t see another person for the first 2 hours, really enjoyed the trail, obviously helped by warm dry sunny and somewhere I’ve never ridden before.
    Will defo return one day.

Vts if low miles and good history are a nice drive, quick fun drive, VTR has the sensor drive (flap paddle box) don’t bother unless you need and auto, GT is a rarer VTR engine and Manual box.
I’ve worked on them since launch, I even went to the UK launch, they just wasn’t as good looking as the saxo they replaced and never gained the boy racer fan base that the saxo got so sales were not great. The VTS was a well spec ed car but stay away from high mile, multi boy racer owner ( same as any car) and run away from anything modded in anyway

Obviously I’ve no idea how technical you are but for what is a £40 ish job at a small garage, and the chance of ether making a mess of it of at worst causing a brake failure is it worth the bother, yes it’s a quick and easy job but so is most things when you know how to do them!!!

The PCD (spacing between the bolts) is the same on all Peugeot/citroen and I’m 99% sure fords so second hand wheels off e bay is the cheapest choice, be warned big wheels and low profile tyres look great but drive like crap, proper spine snapper over pot holes etc!!!

I run hans dampf front and rock razor rear until the weather gets bad then magic Mary front and hans dampf rear,
But I have heard good things about on
One tyres, I’ve always stayed away because of the hit and miss quality of everything else they do but I know people that choose one one tyres when cost isn’t an issue

I buy a few Peugeot/citroens with engine/electrical issues off e bay and the price some “broken” cars go for is crazy, I’m really surprised unless your asking crazy doe for it, that it’s not sold on e bay
Go 99p start and sell as spare or repair! You can always pull it if no interest/bidders 24h before it finishes, most likely someone will message you asking you to an “off e bay deal”

Yep common, was told it was normal, never rated the debonair plus as much as the monarch plus it replaced.

I’m using a full face after a face plant, I’m using a bell super mips and really like it, my understanding is it only failed certificatation due to the vent hole being too large? Unless your racing and need certificatation I wouldn’t over look the bell super, I tried on loads until I found one that fitted my big head!!! I’ve just come back from riding in Spain at 30 degrees and I won’t tell you it’s cool but it was manageable in the heat.

Ive always slagged off 29ers and I’ve never ridden one in anger but I’m just back from switchbacks in Spain, Mike is now riding a 29 at the DH winter place and reckons he’s faster and rides better than he’s ever done
On a 29er. Mike can make a turd of a bike ride well but for him to speak so glowingly about 29ers there must be something to it.

Sold a set of wheel trim still in the packet, way underestimated the postage so after post and fees was still £2 in profit until the bell end said there was a tiny scratch when he opened the packet and refused my off of a refund and because I was an e bay Newby at the time ended up refunding him. So lost out completely.

I sold x2 1908 full sovereigns to a gold dealer by post, I tried loads of places and looks at going rates on eBay but the London postal option paid the highest.
They sent a recorded delivery envelope and I had the money direct to my account.
I don’t think they went for much more than the weight value. And gold was high at the point I seem to remember.

I’m off to switchbacks in bubion at the end of this month, good value uplift morning and lunch, so some climbs but def decent bias.
Nice village, great food and nice location, great trails and even though I’ve done most of them a few are so good I’d fly to Spain just to ride that trail alone. I’ve been 4 years on run so have no experience of any where else.

not been to BKK for a good few years now but spend months living there and you cannot go wrong with ko San road.
It’s a laugh and don’t book just get a cab from the airport and have a look round and walk in to the one you fancy.
Some of them D and D have pools on the roof and sun decks etc. Lots of others in the same area too.
Again this was years ago but a higher class one still on the crazy ko San was buddy lodge.
As I said I lived there for a while on my own, I loved how mental the city was, busy/traffic/pollution but I loved it.

Bikes I can understand but cars… I work on them all day, plus I dislike driving plus my pal has RR wrath/Aston DB9 v12 and a Lamborghini huracan and I could lend any of them but never bother… Genuinely not interested in the slightest.

Use an evoc 29er bag every year for the annual euro bike trip, they are expensive (I hire every year) but they have the good rep for a reason. Very easy and bike safe without being too weighty.
I pay £40 for a week and don’t have the hassle for storing it.
Do you plan to go away enough to warrant buying?

It’s a dam site better than no or low oil.
Unless is something very special or very expensive than its fine.

My guess is right off. It’s easier to send you a cheque and sell it on for repair than deal with possible issues when the repair is started and they find something damaged.
Maybe I’m wrong but I wouldn’t want it back, I’ve seen enough nasty repairs and hidden bodges to save time/money it will rattle and creak because half the clips and trims are broke or missing and the paint won’t match perfect.

Regards yari, I was “told” the thing to do was buy a yari then have a charge damper fitted and it’s still cheaper than a lyric buy cheaper? And he said better but cannot think why?

Later engines petrol citroen/Peugeot/Bmw mini engine ep6 are problematic if not been taken care of, turbo ones even more so, oil consumption/timing chains and valves coking up to a point it causes misfires.
If well serviced and oil changed regularly plus latest software then a great modern engine.
If abused/thrashed then expect bills to make your eyes water.

Customer asked me to fit an e bay/Chinese reverse camera kit, the kit said it wasn’t recommend for modern can bus systems… Anyway I fitted it and it worked perfectly until you started the engine then it was a screen full of grey snow and static!!!

    @marko
I’ve had one issue with them in a good few years of good service, for future ref please recommend better companies?
Way too many small company’s out there now with small testing kits that cannot simulate real world driving and loads so the Ecu gets returned with a NFF and you start to So you doubt your checks..
I did this with a friends old 107, I spent hours checking feeds and earths, loads testing wires etc, customer sent Ecu away came back NFF refitted and obviously same fault, paranoid I re checked all my checked and sent it back again still NFF, so I ended up buying a virginising a 2nd hand Ecu and fault gone.

Send the Ecu to BBA reman or if you know or partly understand the issue with the Ecu, see their web site for common issues with the car/engine/Ecu usually very good to deal with and a few hundred if faulty and repairable. BUT I’ve fixed many cars incorrect diagnosed as Ecu faults because people cannot be arsed making 100% sure that the correct feeds and earths and can plus wiring is spot on.

If it’s a modern car/van make sure it’s can bus error free or it can play havoc with the electric system thinking there is a faulty bulb because the amp draw is so low. Same for side lights etc.

Have a look for a previous thread on here for tennis elbow, but to be brief, I went for a trial at the docs to have my own blood but mainly white blood cells injected into the area and the area stabbed a lot to promote the body to send blood to the area… Sound like crap but apparently it’s what they do with footballers???
Sent me away with weird stretches that I half arsed did but within 2 weeks it was gone and never come back

I got a debonair plus to upgrade from the monarch plus, the notch you mention was always there and felt no where near as nice as the monarch it replaced, always felt dead.
It was on a spicy so poss something to do with the type of Suspention but I sold the bike after falling out of love, it worked but never felt great.
