Walking the dog I found a violin in a case , I took it home had a look and found a picture book inside the case all pics of the grain and marks on the violin and a shop details in The Hague , called the shop and the Dutch national violin team ( what do you call a bunch of violin people ? ) anyway , they had be burgled and the violin was on loan from a museum , 2 people flew to Manchester the next day to retrieve it , one of the lady’s cried kissed me and said it was worth over £100000 !!! I took them around Manchester dropped them of back at the airport said my good byes and got back in my car the phone rang and it was the same Dutch lady saying there was a €1000 under the back seat because she said I would have refused it !!! Felt good at a shit time in my life ( just lost my dad )

I work in the trade and in 20 years I’ve known them pay out under 10 times !!!
The policy is worded so any investigation I.e stripping an engine or gear box or dash remove for wiring is all paid by the customer in the hope that they can claim it back . In 99% they send an engineer who declares poor servicing / lack of oil / customer abuse !!! I’ve spoke to most big warranty companies and I’ve even had them laugh when I’ve asked about the chances of paying out . If its free with a second hand car fine if its £20/£30 per month bank it your self .

Was just about to order an e bay 1800 lumen light to try out a bit of night riding , is link one looks very similar but with x3 cree LEDs instead of one !!! I know it won’t be any where near the stated power but surely x3 will give a better been pattern ? Or will the battery last 10 mins ?

I rode it two weeks ago, on a 140mm full sus , there was a guy with a hard tail and he said it was ok if a bit hard going in Places , the daunting thing is almost everyone is on full downhill rigs with full face lids and body armour and you feel a bit out gunned but after a while and 3/4 sessions I loved the place and will def return .

Using for short runs will wear out the rotor tips in the engine even quicker than normal , there is a reason they are cheap second hand , it’s because they are very expensive to repair and it’s know ( by x2 friend to require engine rebuilds after 20 and 30k , they look great but don’t buy one !!! And they won’t re start when warm !!! My pal had a huge diesel battery fitted and would crank away for ages to start it .

Of you use the a/c regularly the bacteria will stop smelling as much but what ever you do the system needs a regas @2 years ish and pollen filters changed regularly !!! Condensers have a habit of corroding due to our great weather .

Don’t use or be very careful using the aerosol type anti bacteria sprays, I work in a main dealer and see loads of people distroy the radio by spraying the foam into the vents as instructed and some of the foam/fluid runs into the radio head unit that then goes bang . Expensive error if it’s a navigation unit £1000+

I run rubber queens 2.2 ust and about 14 stone and run front 20 psi rear 30 psi
I love the grip and way the Suspention feels with soft tyres . Only had a few tyre slighty folding but not burping all the air out and they where bad landings off angle on +2 foot jumps

I order one, waited 6 months for the wrong size to turn up , and noticed bad paint , poor fit , miss aligned parts and on demo rear Suspention that seemed to react much later than the front when landing . Got my deposit back and bought a zesty . Stunning looking bike though , met a guy at CDB a few weeks ago that had a 146 works and had snapped x3 frames !!! And the 2013 frame with a **** looking extra bar is a design joke .

Helping the wider economy is great BUT how much does the pub give towards the trails your riding ? Like previously said if we all don’t pay we don’t get new and maintained trails !
