Yes it’s an easy job you need a trim removal tool/30 torqs 20 torqs and a 10mm socket and extension, the mistake some people make is to not clean out the glass from the cable runners and glass guides, they force a new glass in a damage the motor, also don’t use any type of lube because it will work great at first but cause all the felt in the runners to fall off and glass on rubber wont slide. Also a nice new razor blade to remove the water proof sealing sheet, if you carefully pull it away and cut at the glue it can easily be reused.

Great bike HORRIBLE fork if it still has its e150/160 specialized own brand on it, I even contacted specialized about set up custom tune and no joy.
Shop agreed and quoted £600 to fit a 36 float to fix the issue

I’m surprised if your car has transponder type immobiliser (car too old) that would utilise the transponder Ariel ( ring thing round the key) BUT if your car does have that I’m 99% I know what you have done and why it won’t start….
When you have opened the key to replace the battery in the upper corner it should have a tiny coffin shaped transponder chip and they fall out unnoticed and obviously the car won’t start. Open the key and show me a pic.

Bit far for me to help you but ill give you a bit of bad news, in my experience 8/10 times in a few weeks/months the EML light will come on and the fault will be a cat ageing fault, the cat has been damaged beyond repair by the diesel and the porous oxygen sensor really don’t like it either.
And you don’t want to know how much the cat is for that little 3 cylinder engine…

Where abouts are you? Petrol filler necks are a smaller diameter and shouldn’t fit a diesel filler in. But it will go in partly but not fully due to a restriction. To stop this.

I work for Peugeot/citroen and to fill that 106 with diesel you have had to hold the diesel to the filler neck because it won’t fit in. But it still gets done regularly.

Word of warning, don’t take it to a main dealer to be repaired or tell the main dealer if the car is still under warrenty.

I’m an mot tester and ask my area rep from the ministry this question and his answer was, ” no mot tester can cancel an mot after its issued and even if another mot is done it doesn’t cancel the previous mot. Or make it invalid.
Phone the mot hotline to confirm this.

All the above and some light weight shin Guards that you can stick on for the decents through the over grown trails, shins cut to shreds try to keep up with mike from switchbacks, +1 for spokes mech hanger chain etc no bike shops nearby my pal had to hire an old enduro from mike due to an important bolt falling out mid decent, CHECK every thinks tight every day, the rocky decents have an ability to loosen everything in hours than would take months at a trail centre.
P.s it’s amazing you will love it.

No first hand experience but a good pal works at a vw dealer and says they are great when new and in warrenty BUT v v expensive when they go wrong and apparently they do a lot. I’m a huge vw fan but he and 90% of the dealership don’t drive them due to reliability issues with the new ish (3/4) year old vws.
Like most other manufacturers at the min terrible diesel injector and egr problems etc

Had pain for 6+ months, seen a specialist who took blood and injected 2ml into the tendon area near the elbow and generally stabbed about abit to cause a bit of inflammation to promote repair and the extra blood aids the repair. I though it was bollox but its been 2 weeks and it actually feels better!!!

Got one at work now, we know it wasn’t service for 60k your van poss has been but you have no record? The car at work has killed x2 turbos and x2 oil pumps because the amount of dry, cooked oil/ crap in the block no matter how many times we change oil/flush/ change parts it only takes another small amount to come adrift and block the turbo feed filter or jam open the oil pressure release valve. BUT in 13 years I’ve been working on this engine this is the only one I’ve seen this bad. If its cheap and runs well I would probably buy and as discussed on here change oil/filter/turbo pipes / gauze etc sound extreme but £1000 for a new turbo is a lot more of a pain!!!
My option is that it’s the best small diesel out at the min, but obviously everything has issues if abused.
    Good luck

Went to Spain with a pal he used a cardboard box, a massive one, only problem was it wouldn’t fit through the Spanish x ray machines and had to use the cargo x ray machine. Apart from that no issues at all

My first set of ust rubber queens leaked from various places constantly and leaked so much the stans went off and I got the dreaded rubber ball noise. I e mailed continental they couldn’t give a shit I sent pics of the leaks to the place I bought the tyres and they sent me a new set and they have been perfect.
One other thing is I know a few people have been sold non ust as ust tyres because non ust will seal with enough stans

I used an Alan bike box last week for a flight to Spain, not the easiest to fit an 150mm large size bike bike into, I had to remove the wheels obviously but also the rear mech, bars and forks. Saved the bike from damage but no where near as good as my pals evoc bike bag!!!

I love my BC 2.2/2.4 rubber queens just killed a set in the Spanish mountains but even with thorns sticking through every where and a healthy gash in the side wall they stayed up. Best tyre and only tyre ill ever use.
Best comment I ever read about rubber queens was on here: they make 2 types of rubber queens, plastic crap and black chilli!!! ONLY buy black chilli I’ve used 2.2 f and r for trail use for years I’m now using 2.4 because I had them spare front and rear because I’m telling my self the horrendous drag from the monster tyre will in some way make me fitter. And they look cool as ****.

Citroen will do the job for £299 for belt, tentioner, and roller but not the water pump and at least if the worse happens you have a proper warrenty

If your back end is QR check the tightness of the QR I had problem with the carbon wearing and causing the wheel to become loose. Tighten the QR a bit tighter and try again.
