i live in todmorden and i have rode to lee quarry a few times, just start from todmorden and head towards walsden on rochdale road, and turn right at the arches which takes you onto bacup road, ride all the way up there and drop down into rottonstall/bacup and lee quarry is on the left near the big factory, ive rode there a few times, getting back is a pain as its all uphill lol, then downhill into tod so not to bad ;p

my rear mech has a bit of play but i fell off and thats what caused it, i need a new one but it still shifts fine, its better off just getting the most out of it until u really need a new one when its not shifting at all :)

yea i mean ive only been about 5 or 6 times my self and its got a red and black route which is pretty good for the area its in, looking forward to the new stuff!

ive got tech x2 fitted to my bike, great set of brakes, had no problems so far, really comfy to use i trust them alot more now :) oh did i mension they look the bizz ;p especially with a braided hose :)

theres not really any bad climbs there all mainly switchback climbs that take about 5 mins to ride up

last time i went to dalby i did it in 2 hours 31 mins :) i didnt stop once and i rode while i was eating that energetic mars bar i managed to grab from my bag lol ;p was a good ride though, dont know where i got the energy to do it :D

big climbs and sweet long decents :) remember if you want to have fun going down theres always going to be a really long tiring climb lol

looks like most of you got it good then, if you live in the todmorden area aka raintown you hardly see sun these days lol

i hate it when that happens, when you just want to get home from a long ride, and then u get home and fall asleep lol

yeh thats exactly where it is on mine on the inside, im willing to pay the price but most people just live with it that cause more problems in the future

ah, i just stuck to the red all the way because it was my first time since the new construction, wasent sure if the black would rejoin or not lol ;p

Ive been up there and done the red route recently, tbh compared to dalby forest gisburn red route is really short, well seemed it to me but theres alot better technical routes at gisburn, ive been told if you do the red route up until it gives you a bit of a decision to go onto the black by going downhill off the red, its alot better, but its improved since i last went :)

ive been twice to that forest, one was ages ago when it was all big family paths not even arrows were placed lol, but ive been recently and its really good, lots of berms jumps singletrack, northshore etc, keep building!!

lol so when i see my next forest fire i know what caused it ;p

Hope Vision 2 for £147 i havent seen them cheaper than that unless its 2nd hand.. excellent light 5 different settings, bright wide view works great on the trails highly reccomend them

it all started last night when i was on the tops and it was pouring down with rain, it was freezing and i was soaked, totally regret going riding yesterday, it hasent stopped yet! i live in walsden and i looked out the front this morning and i couldent see the road due to flooding, luckily i dont have work till later on and the roads are now open so hopefully things should be ok :)

i hate uphills but the only reason i do them is because i know there is a sweet downhill after it, also it burns alot of calories, like today i was out first time in 2 weeks as ive been on holiday, i did loads of uphills and all my energy just disapeard and got stuck in awefull weather on the tops and it was freeziing, not good at all :(

yeh the helmets above are called MET-parashoot i think, can find them one crc, its simular to what ron has but tbh i think there more dangerous as they could easily break and probaly go straight through your windpipe lol

hey mark, 35 portions from pollards? i live just up the road from that chippy in sunny walsden lol, to tell you the truth, keep riding and on your right hand side theres a smaller chippy, next time go there, less grease unless your wanting some for the bikes as well lol ;p where do you guys ride? could do with coming sometime as i live in the area unless you was just passing by?

i just bought my self some Maxxis Minions DH tyres now they do have some grip, can get up all the hills i used to slide about on before ;p reccomended by a friend and they work a treat, give em a go :)

great game, finished it on pc, good on multiplayer also :D
