i use sram x-9 shifters they can get tuff sometimes, i get problems going into middle ring, and the shifter its self is really stiff to press down, they just need playing with, once u get it right there not to bad
nop u dont put the spacers on i tried, if you keep them on they stop the pedal from moving around, take them off and the pedal screws in leaving about a cm gap between that and the crank arm making it spin :) thx anyway
the back dosent freeze its the water in ur pipe that does, i end up biting it like some kinda slush pupppy lol not good, unless your wrap it up with something, not sure, if that dosent work just put heated water inside last longer lol
thx guys, ill keep looking, the Truvativ Holzfeller are still the ones shouting buy me ! but keep firing ones at me, its got to be ones from chain reaction cause its a 50 quid voucher :D
i haven't rode in about 3 weeks because of this weather :( it put me off when i was out about 3 weeks ago and my rear mech froze and it got stuck in 3rd gear and my pedals were to slippy to even get any grip because it was so cold, so im going to wait until it clears up loll had to basically roll home from the tops and i couldn't drink because my water had frozen also ;p
yeah what they said above, i use "winter conditions" lube it comes out green in a small green and black tub, apply this to your chain and stops it rusting :)

that last pic looks so like the hill where i live, just above walsden/todmorden area near sharny ford, because its got the fence as you go up the big climb with the gate, looks just like it weird :D
loads of em round my area m8, they just go out to annoy people because they cant think of anything else better to do, i just ignore them and start looking in the oposite direction looking all confused as if to say " where did that voice come from " that annoys em ! lol try it ;p
yeah that's the thing about riding in the snow, your parts freeze up and your pedals don't have any grip so any tricky section your trying to climb up just gets ruined and then u land on Ur balls ;p
