i use muc-off chain cleaner with a bucket off hotwater and a sponge, comes out brand new, my m8 saw my bike the day after and went, "new chain?" :D

yeh i have fox forks and the only problem ive had it stantion wear on the left hand side, needs sorting when i get round to it and have the money also

just come bk from gisburn i really enjoyed it, apart from the fact most of the trails were muddy and still a fair bit of snow on the northshore but it was all still rideable and still good fun, yes the (hully wully) if im correct the rollercoster section was closed but i wasn't bothered as i knew what condition it would of been in, overall another good days riding :)

everytime im out riding you will hear one of your mates behind ya saying " i think the hangover is kicking in now" and im at the front thinking, im glad i only had a few last night because i knew i was riding the following day and when im hungover im still half drunk and riding a bike feeling terrible dosent work for me lol appart from that its fine, so if you drink during the week as well as weekends just drink a few if your out the following day and make sure u drink at least 2 pints of water before you go to bed and plenty in the camel back :D worked a treat for me :)

i got a hammer and smashed em off lol, and that little plastic disk behind the cassette i got a knife heated it up and cut slowly into it burning a hole so it slides off :D cause im destructive !

i dont use a jet wash as there too powerful but if you get a hosepipe with one of those selective endings so you can choose which water power to use that's fine, get some muc-off spray it on leave it few mins rinse off and rub off any grime left over, rinse it down, dry it off, and lube chain for next ride :)

yeh ive seen all that im just saying its not really a good idea to go up there anytime soon unless you like eating alot of mud for dinner :)

went up this morning, looks like they are building something out there, i saw a few jcb`s digging and the whole play area was taped off, and the bit just after that play area where the red route carry's on was caked in mud, there's a hell of a lot of mud and patches of ice still on the trails and its still slippery so i only went round once, i guess ill wait until its all dried up, that's for the people who intend to go up there in the meantime :)

im looking for some also to protect my white frame lol so send in the cheapest links thx !

Ive got a cannondale prophet 1 its amazing, i first started out on a Gary fisher hard tail but since the upgrade it feels so much better, they are good for everything if you live in a hilly area like me, there not heavy and there not too light, amazing for technical climbs and awesome on the downhill also, reliable bike go for it :)

like how u keep that bike near a radiator just like me :) they love it after those cold wet rides ;p

i used to hate them but they kinda grown on me living in a very hilly area but over where i live you got your tarmac hill climbs which arnt as good but you also got your tricky off road sections too which are alot more fun, i guess its one of those things you get used to, what you have to say to your self is " if theres ups theres downs" :)

i have tech x2`s upgraded from avid juicy 5, there an amazing brake and feel so much smoother and the levers just feel so much better and more reliable gof or x2 if ur xc , not sure about the v2 dh versions never used em

i got 2 chain rings on cause i took my big one off and replaced it with a bash ring

nice sounds great, been waiting for new stuff for a while, wouldn't mind helping out with the trails my self i only live about 20 mins away :)

lol at the video, i think i know where that is, its not just above hebden is it? as if you have come from widdop way down the trail until you reach the tarmac road and then on the other side of the road there is a wooden gate and then its a steep hill you have to take your bike down and theres like wooden steps like the video which leads into a wood? sorry if im wrong lol
