mine do that on my fox float rl`s but Ive had mine for about 2 years now, they started showing oil just recently, but ive also got wear on my stanchions which i need to get sorted so ill prob just sort the whole lot when i book it in for a service
so medium will be fine, just need a new chain then, as mine hasent been replaced for a while, infact its been that long i cant remember taking bits off it, that must be the problem, thx alot anyway :)
Ive got a creak coming from my bike and i don't think its the BB because there's no play or anything, it seems fine, it sounds like its coming from somewhere below but im not certain, it happens alot when i put pressure on the bike, let me know if you solve it thx
I'm not sure what camera it was it was my mates and i don't know anything about them, all i know was he has a separate flash on a tripod so when you aim the camera in its direction it would flash from the side, or you can either use a sensor that plug's into the camera do you don't have to aim at the flash but we couldn't get that working, good pic though, i have a better one which i am hoping to get put in the single track magazine :D
i hate walkers, they think they rule the path when they are walking in your direction, just slow down and steadily ride past them that's all i do, most of the people around here say hi and give a smile, but u get the odd nob head that's old and only jealous of your bike :P ignore them or if they carry on spray mud at em next time ;p
probably didn't zap you at all, if i was the policeman id of zapped you just to see how fast you were going out of interest ;p , i always try make them 30mph signs flash up lol
you dont need one mum, get a thompson seat post and a good nice holding seat clamp thats strong enough and thats going to last a while and uve cracked it
i don't understand the question, if you was a non mountain biker how would you know that riding on mud is more fun that dusty trails, some people may like mud as it puts the fun in it or some people like the dusty trails because it faster and smoother and its more of a rush, IMO i like both :D
i need to get up there and check it all out :) haven't been for a while, i went there like a few month ago and they had jcb`s up there and alot of wet soggy mud but that was when the snow was melting, sounds like they have done alot since. A definate visit is in order :P
i never used a bash ring until i though, right i never use my big ring and it was only getting bashed around on the rocks, kinda in my way abit, so i took it off and replaced it with a bash ring, ive never hit my bash ring since………………………
Vrapan- i have exactly the same problem as you, especially when im stood up but i dont stand up that much unless its a downhill, it happens on mine when im in a low gear mainly, but it sounds like its coming from the BB but i haven't had my BB that long its fairly new, im taking mine to a shop if it gets any worse but its not good to ride through town and everyone's looking at you as if to say wtf is that loud noise! :/
FOX FLOAT RL 32 bought 18 months ago with the bike, stantions worn on the left hand side, kept clean all the time just this was my only problem and still needs sorting :(
yeh i was thinking the same, it looks like hardcastle crags area where theres the car park with the little shed and the river etc, we went up there ages ago mum ;p.
