I have the same issue, so I’ve set up a Meetup group for mountain bikers in Birmingham. Though I don’t have many members so far!
It’s called the Birmingham Fairweather Mountain Biking group. You’re welcome to join as I am planning to do stuff in FoD.

There are some on Strava if Harriet Harnden is QOM you’ll know it’s a good trail. As long as you have a ebike its great fun and the starting points miss most of the popular walking areas.

I am suffering from this problem too currently off the bike due to bruised/broken ribs after hitting a semi-buried fence post which the wire attached caught my pedal. I think I was turning slightly and pedaling at the same time. Riding a Voima with 27.5 wheels and 155 cranks going to have to stop pedaling on the flat so much as this is the second crash I have had last time it was a tree stump luckily no injuries that time! So there are videos on this pedal strike with e-bikes?

I used a physio who massaged and used shockwave therapy cured 100% in about 4-5 weeks I think. My test is could I pick up a granite mortar with a wide grip previously just looking at it caused me pain! Now it is easy. I now use a blue Thera-Band to keep it from recurring starting with a yellow which was hard at the start.

I left mine on a wall in Craigvinean forest, Dunkeld, and it was anonymously posted back to me in Brum so you never know!

I went on news years eve, I wish I had brought my own bike, it was a Cannondale Jekyll but getting used to 29″ wheels (my bike has 27.5/26) the Shimano brakes – either on or off, the suspension didn’t seem that plush and the pins in the pedals weren’t very grippy. I was holding onto the coattails of riders in their 20’s and 30’s (I am in my 50’s) Still a lot of fun though! I brought my own helmet and knee pads and just carried my FF on the plane with me. The temperature was 9° at the top and 22° at the bottom but this was the last day in December. So for three days, I think it would be worth it to bring your own bike.

They charge £3 at Birmingham and then it gets added to your uber fare – it is annoying, but what can you do?

I just notified the police and never heard anything again when this happened to me.

My add – I agree with configuration there is not much worth watching, the only thing I really enjoyed was Mr. Corman. I will give Bad Sisters a view though.

I had my Facebook account hacked in the same way and yes hindsight is such a great thing! Always put 2FA on all of your accounts, that is the lesson to take away from here!

Yep I used to get them with the interaction of fluorescent tubes and the refresh rate flicking of old VDU screens, nowadays too much or too little sleep gives me them. Guess you have to work out your triggers…

Guys thanks for the replies, I have learnt Riding trousers with built-in knee protection don’t exist, I’ll never find a pair of Endura MT500 Burner Pant II* and suspenders are the answer, thanks zerocool! *no you can still get them in Large and XL in tangerine at cyclestore.

Thanks for the replies, something that stops grazes – the problem I have with knee pads is they always seem to fall down, which is fine in shorts but a bit of a pain when wearing trousers.

I reckon the sprint format would be the perfect situation for a reversed grid then there would be some overtaking.

This happened to me stolen off my smart forfour brabus years ago, a strange car to steal number plates off but there you go – reported to police never heard anything again.

I use both and yes it is a steep learning curve, when you go back to AutoCAD you will keep typing ZE
I guarantee it. For me working on other peoples models is a pain as there are so many different ways
to do things in Revit you won’t have this problem as your new. Just remember the lines in Revit are the 3d model not 2d lines (well not unless someone has bodged it). message me if you need any help.
    cheers Chris

Yeah, you can still watch on Red Bull TV with that annoying mike chann bloke negates the need for subscribing to WRC+ which I use to do, so I always thought they shot themselves in the foot allowing Red Bull TV to show it…

Don’t forget there is also one at the BMX track in Great Barr, and
if you are a Birmingham council tax payer you get to use the BMX track and pump track for free at certain times.

This is good news – the last time I rode the first phase of the newly built trails in early February the gay cottaging was still going on – this was on Saturday afternoon in daylight, they quickly dispersed when I rode the trails must of thought I was an uncover patrol…
