KRYTEN: Well, is anything the matter?
RIMMER: Anything the matter? They’re dead.
    KRYTEN: Who’s dead?
RIMMER: (Pointing to the skeletons) _They_ are dead. They’re all dead.
KRYTEN: My god! Well, I was only away two minutes!

Kryten: Well the Space Corp directive 195 clearly states that in an emergency power situation a hologramatic crewmember must lay down his life in order that the living crewmembers might survive.

Rimmer: Yes, but Rimmer Directive 271 states just as clearly: No chance you metal bastard

Is it only me who thought Bregante put his piece of glass on a pasty woman’s belly in that pic? No? OK.

When are you thinking of going to Lee/Cragg? We’ve had a lot of snow yesterday and whilst it has mostly melted in the valley bottom there is still quite a bit up top. North facing as well. I’ve been stuck in all day so not sure and looking out of the window’s no good. It’s dark.
Think I might have a venture up tomorrow.

Loads here in Rossendale and quite a few schools are shut. I’m not at work today so sledge’s are coming out 😀

It’s the same round here. Other than a few school kids it’s pretty rare to see anyone else walking once out of the town centre.
I find where my brother lives a strange place whenever I’ve done a few jobs for him. If it weren’t for the cars on the drive ways, you’d think the house’s were empty. It’s like the set of a film where everyone’s been killed off by a disease or something. Occasionally you’d here a door close and a car driving off or a dog barking. Spooky. 🙂

I am always baffled as to why people go to the gym to walk on the treadmill!

Same here. I regularly ride through a gym car park muttering to myself at the weirdos in the windows. Fair enough if it’s a gym in heavily built up area, and I know some people are scared of a bit of wind and rain but on a beautiful day you’ve no excuse. We’ve got hills ffs. WALK UP ONE.
Actually stay off them they’re mine. 🙂

    Are you Rochdale way MD?
Give Bryant fires a ring. They fitted a couple of stoves for a friend and he’s well pleased.
I fitted my own with just a roof ladder.
Won’t be doing that again. 😯

I need to get back up as well, as the rain cap I bought for the top of the liner wasn’t stainless steel. It completely disintegrated in less than 2 years. Doh.

Thanks. I think I’ll have to check the route first. Maybe with a stop over at a nice inn because forty odd miles is far too much in one day. 😀

I’ve read that just south of Kendal that it’s not a great surface but we’ll both be on mountain bikes. Is there a culvert or bridge for the likes of the M6?

£7.20 at my shop (far too cheap). Gave them a tenner cause they do a good job and they’re nice girls.

Didn’t realise it was entry day and would have loved to do it again. Last time was 2008. Where does the time go?

Iv’e had some Nexen NPriz 4s fitted a couple of weeks ago which are fairly cheap all season tyres to the 2 wheel drive Qashqai. They were brilliant, up/down in tonight’s Pennine snow, no trouble.
We had an old Discovery TD5 which had cheap summer tyres on when we bought it and it really struggled on fairly modest hills in the snow (embarrassing), so it just goes to show about having the right tyres.

You can’t beat doing it on the dining room table. 😉
Seriously though, you don’t want to mess around pasting it on a narrow paste table. You want to be doing it as quickly as possible. Have you no lining paper you can cover and tape to the table? Although it’s better to wipe the bare table each time or it can end up all over the face of the paper
I bet it comes with it’s own paste doesn’t it? It’ll be very thick so you’ll be better pasting with a short haired roller. Don’t miss bits on the edges especially.
    Good luck.

We must have spotted these at same time as I’m after a kit for some old Avids. Not looking forward to doing those buggers, sounds a right faff.

Do you need one for Hopes these days? Just had a bit of pipe and a bottle taped to the forks to do my old Minis.

Both Sand Beds and the Waterboard road are marked as footpaths. Not that it ever stopped us. In more recent times the lane past the Waterboard house has been sign posted as private so we just push up the footpath in the field to the side then carry on riding up the track once past the house.
If you ride up Sand Beds just be aware that there used to be two big dogs at the farm house near the top which would come out and chase you.
We’d always ride down that way. 🙂

I bought a meter off eBay that looks identical to the Stihl one. One of the pins has pushed in and doesn’t register anymore. Crap.
If you’re wanting it for wood you burn I wouldn’t bother. You know if the wood is dry enough with the weight when you pick it up.

    Not much help I know.

    Happy New Year pal. 🙂

We drain moorlands and fields to get water away and down into the brooks and rivers. It persists down. Why are some people surprised with all the water?

    What’s goose like?

Over the years people have lost that loving feeling for goose but I find that their mighty wings, after cooking for a couple of hours in the danger zone takes my breath away.

Sorry that’s the best I can do.

    It’s quite nice. 🙂

If it’s paste the wall or paper wallpaper then I’d paste the paper. Pasting the wall means you are having to paste neatly up to the last one you put up as the paste on the wall is drying. Normal wallpaper always needs the paste on the paper as it needs time to expand.

Was looking through the local rag whilst camping in Aberaeron this year and fancied a pair of these till I found out the price. 😯
