It's not an iron mesh base that's supporting the mattress on the bed is it?

There was a recent article in New Scientist where they stayed in the supposedly haunted Tapestry room in Muncaster Castle, Cumbria.

The scientists doing the study think that magnetic fields could be to blame and they found the strongest magnetic field in the room came from the iron meshed bed. It fluctuated when people turned over on it as well.

They didn't see anything that night though. 🙂

I think the only way to be sure is let the lad sleep with his mum for a week and you have his room. 😀

Lee quarry is always ok. A bit sticky at the top. But the snow has gone.

I would have thought the snow has gone from Gisburn as well, though it was sloppy in places(for a trail centre)when I rode there before Christmas. Still great fun though whichever you ride.

    Just a few jumps.

    Or the easy route. 🙂

Don't use normal washing powder. Use Nikwax Techwash or similar. Or a cheaper alternative is to use soap flakes.

We have taken in lots of kittens that have come down from the farms and always looked after them. Two or three have died of cancer when older.

They are off their food then seem chipper for a couple of weeks before suffering again.

    Not nice 🙁

Waaay. Done it after tapping the other side like you said. Piece of piss.
Cheers guys. I knew you'd come up trumps.

    Obviously a poor manual. 🙂

    Press 'fits'
Is it just the valve side (it's totally loose)
Or both. The manual says no. 🙂

I may have to get the local kids to use it as part of their rope swing.
    That should free it. 😀

It went downhill along time ago. You're better off listening to Material World on Radio 4.

Sounds very dodgy. Were they tipping in order to cover over the asbestos?
Just wait until your local cab is open.

£35 quid for a chain. They've seen you coming. 😀

I'm dumbing down to whatever Deore I can get. Slightly heavier but it makes you fitter. My granny ring fell off 8 months ago and still not bothered to replace it. 🙂

Great pictures. I love it around Silverdale and Arnside. A beautiful part of the country.
Did you ride Arnside Knot? Warton Crag? Dollywood Lane? 😀

Not exactly hardcore mountain bike riding, but a lovely place to ride.

I've had a P7 for the past 2 years and love it. It's about 28 pounds with 130mm forks on. I can't see why anyone needs anymore on a hard tail.

That's the pub Susie. I loved the place. The beer was great and the food looked and smelled mouthwatering. Their Pelton wheel is ace too. 😀

We stopped at a very nice cottage in Dyffryn Ardudwy the first time I did the Dyfi enduro. It's a few mile up the road from Barmouth and just a short drive from Coed-y-Brenin, Harlech castle and the Ffestiniog railway.
There is also a massive beach with sand dunes and lovely walks in woodland to finish up at a superb pub.
    I can't wait to go back. 😀

It's just a crappy toy aimed at the DIY market.

Brush, roller and roller pole . It's great for your abs. 🙂

I just bought the frame and some new forks and used the rest of the bits off my old bike. That was two and a half year ago and it was alot cheaper than £450. A fairly hefty bike at 28 pounds but fantastic to ride.

Sunspots. Or the lack of them are the cause of all this snow.

    Or maybe not.

Does anyone bother to read the OP any more?

Yes. I did. It was only a suggestion.
Anyway you should be using a map and compass and save money on the brain training games. 😉

Been using Hope 4s since they came out. Fantastic bit of kit and only Stevie Wonder would need more light. I had to send them back because of a fault recently and even though they were 7 months outside their warranty they didn't charge me. Got them back in a week as well. Who needs a warranty 🙂

I had a 2002 Trek 6500 and used disc brakes for a few years with no problem, and without any sort of adapter.

I havn't read much of this thread but it seems that many people will quite happily shit in there own bed.

I would have thought that most people would look after where they lived. Even if there is only a small chance of damaging it.

I know that alot of mountain bikers may find them a bit boring to ride on, but I think they can be quite atmospheric for some reason. I like the one running out of Keswick.

Yes we have them. I love watching them at dusk. Fast buggers aren't they.
I once had one smack me in the face just as I was coming back from a ride.
Obviously not looking where he was going 🙂
