    It's well good 😀
Just come back from the place and finished by messing about on the pump track. I'm rubbish on that. 🙁

    Where?
I can't see any mention in the June edition and the next one does not come out until next month.

He was just worried more than anything else.
If you really damage your knackers you wouldn't run about like that.

Vehicles are not usually allowed up there unless unless your official.
Just park your camper at the bottom. Travellers seem to like it there. 😀

That's also another route I've used if it's the same one I'm thinking about. It goes past the Buck and an old mill, and then through a farm yard with devil dogs if I remember rightly. 🙂

A good quick evening ride is to set off from Owd Betts car park and up to the turbines, down to Waughs well, a lap and a half of Cragg quarry, back up to the turbines and then fly back down to Owd betts.

Some of it's a bit cheeky though. 🙂

Easier to ride up Rake Head past Alf Kymes breakers yard on the east side of Cowpe res.

Black pudding with loads of english mustard.
Morecambe bay shrimps – preferably eaten sat outside a pub in Arnside looking across the bay.

What's that delicacy they eat around Teeside?
Parma or something. It involves a lot of cheese. 😯

I'm about 6' and have a 19" P7 and while it's great I think I should have got a size smaller for riding round trail parks with their jumps and things.

Use the MDF primer. I've never heard about someone using PVA.
I wouldn't bother about the filler on the edges either. Just prime, sand and prime again.
Then carry on with your master plan. 🙂

    Wasps are ace.
I once watched one fighting a bumble bee, chewed it's head off and flew off with it, then came back for the body. Well hard 🙂

Apart from that they kill your garden pests.

The way I go up there goes near alf kymes scrap yard. Another way is to go from The Buck and the old mill and join Rooley moor road just under Cowpe reservoir.

Good isn't it. I couldn't put my finger on why they feel so good to ride at first but I think it's the lack of noise and vibration from a geared setup. It's just so smooth. 😀
I think I could do with a 32:17 setup rather than 32:16 for riding in the pennines though. 🙂

The 'trails' at Cragg quarry were not all that good. If you could have called them trails. It was just somewhere to have a bit of a mess about, on your way through to the Cowpe descent. 🙂

Having said that I haven't had a look at the new stuff yet.

A lot of the manned flights into space was just showing off. China are doing the same thing now.
Probes that are sent into space are much better, cheaper. Things will break down though, but it doesn't mean you should give up.

Walking's great. You take more things in like scenery and wildlife rather than looking at the trail in front of your wheel.
    Chill out man. 😀

Have noticed that travellers have moved their caravans on to the car park at the bottom today.
Perhaps they are waiting to take part in singletrack weekender. 😀

Just wait until they've finished building all the stuff at the other local quarries and have linked them up. 😀

It's Cragg Quarry just above Cowpe res where they they are building the new trails. West/South west of Lee quarry like where you said were.
