You don’t really need many signs for Cragg Quarry from Rochdale. Just keep going up Rooley rd/Pennine BW until you see Cowpe res down on your right.
The new link is obvious. About a mile before Cragg on your right.
I don’t read the Daily Mail so I miss all these cancer scare stories. 🙂
If you’re bothered I used these[/url]. When I could get them at supermarkets. Only because they didn’t make me overly perfumed. 🙂
Been round Lee quarry this morning and got soaked. Great fun. The river Irwell looks impressive although I wouldn’t want to live near it at the moment. Just seen a couple of fire engines pumping water from some buildings.
Do it. For a while anyway. If only to prove to your self that you are a real man.
I did and since then I’ve been beating the ladies off with a big stick. So to speak. 🙂
Take plenty to eat. You’ll need the energy for opening all those gates. 🙂
Which way are you doing it? Clockwise is best.
Whenever I’ve done the MTL challenge, I always make sure I have an energy gel left for the climb up Rooley moor road near the end. It’s horrible. 🙁
I've never done any stretching exercises, before, or after a ride and never seem to have had any muscle strains.
Perhaps it's because I'm moving around all day as I've a manual job where I'm constantly stretching all day.
You're supposed to park at the bottom where there are lots of parking spaces and ride up to the quarry. I'm assuming you are on a mountain bike.
You will not be riding up a mountain and so is very easy. 😉
Just use a brush to cut in up to the tiles with one coat before you grout as it's easy to get off the tiles even when dry. You can leave the rest of the wall till after. You could try masking tape but the paint always seems to creep under anyway so a steady hand is best.
You are bound to get grout on the wall which means you having to touch up the paint after.
I saw a police car driving up their a while ago. Must be trouble already. 🙂
I'll be having a look up on Sunday as I'm doing the 42 mile Rossendale way in a day walk tomorrow. Starts at 5.30 in the morning. 😯
Nice pic.
Nothing wrong with Magpies. They're clever, and are good at adapting to their environment which people don't seem to like.
Great Tits eat insects which isn't all that good for insects.
