New album coming out? Free publicity? Known to pull pranks like this before?

    Call me cynical…

I have a very little used Dialled PA for £450.
I built it up a couple of years ago but have only ridden it a handful of times due to illness

Crest rims, RS Recon forks, Avid Elixir brakes etc.

I’m not far from QE park either!

**Edit: excuse the cat related paraphernalia, it the uh… missus’s :)

Its pretty difficult to get a toothbrush in there with pursed lips, serious head shaking and lots of pushing away with his arms – I really don’t want to go down the forceful route, he’s only 12 months!

Great for business disposal, may do home computing equipment – Proceeds can be donated to charity, they will wipe anything off your drives to a military standard.

No idea if it will cost you, or indeed how much.

Those new Merc A-class hatchbacks look quite nice too, don’t know much about them but the high end ones look mean as.

Personally, I’d pack up and FO abroad if I even got a sniff that this was likely to happen to me.

    You don’t have kids then?

    Nail that and you’re a shoe-in.

Some of the furniture could be worth something, the whole shabby chic market has exploded recently (ercol and the like sell for £100s).
If you have any idea who the furniture is made by, it would help loads…

I have the 1.2TSI engine (are you looking at the TSI?) in the Skoda equivalent (Rapid) and it’s a cracking engine – even with my heavy right foot I get 45mpg around town and can get up to 55mpg on a run. I’d imagine the Rapid is a damn sight heavier than the polo too.

I work a lot of festivals and Boomtown is by far and away the scabbiest of them all (save for Wickham Horse Fair).

Still… On the subject of horses, the police mounted unit made an appearance last year and were actually really cool 8)

Similarly I can recommend Nimble storage’s range, 8TB with 160gb flash at the bottom end to 450TB with 30TB flash storage at the top ranging from £12k to just under a million

I’m in the market for a cheap NAS solution such as this, although 1 tier of SAS (50TB) will suffice… as long as the IOs are reasonable.
What can I get for around 50k?

I can highly recommend a NetApp 2520 (their entry level NAS) with 50TB of SAS disks (in raid 6), SATA if you’re on a budget.
Great if you have a 10Gb backplane.

    £60 to you, sir.

    60k that is.

I’m genuinely shocked that this made for entertaining TV!

I really enjoyed it, but felt immensely guilty for doing so.

Tesco momentum 99 will always track along the price of standard unleaded – always 5p above. This applies to every tesco station.

Those Sony KDL w7xxxx tellies (linked above) are some of the best gaming tellies you can buy.

If it’s good enough for gamers, it’s good enough for YOU.

I so very nearly pulled the trigger (no pun intended) on this earlier last year – admittedly it was priced at £1650 at the time.

If you’re up in Scotlandshire, I’d probably go full suss if it were me – Comfort is being alluded to with the advice given here already. I’d agree with that, but also point out if you’re blowing your arse out pedalling up a Scottish “hill”, you might find the extra comfort of a full suss bike an advantage as you’ll be able to comfortably sit down whilst plodding along.
Plus the fact full suss bikes flatter riding skills and are generally more forgiving, I “caught the MTB bug” mostly when I found I could throw myself down a welsh hill at serious speed with the bike soaking up a lot of the knocks, something that’s harder to achieve on a hardtail (not impossible, just requires more skill is all).

Anyway, it’s probably all moot because if you do get the bug and you frequent STW you’ll end up with 5 bikes soon enough.

    *N+1

    +1 on the Britax Dualfit.

Excellent piece of kit albeit expensive – The swivel function makes it sooooooo much easier to get nipper in and out.

You like Arkham City and Assassin’s Creed?

You’ll be wanting Shadow of Mordor then. Its made by the same people who made Arkham City, features very similar game mechanics and has been described as a cross between Batman and Assassin’s Creed.

    Win win.

About here? In which case the roundabout is irrelevant and the van changed lanes on the motorway.

    Yes, there.
His defence was that I was in the wrong on the roundabout, I suppose you’re right though!
