    She looks a beauty.

The only advice I have is they’re usually quite easy to bribe with tasty treats.

    Good luck.

I’m still in, I’ve not really been bothered by it, so far. It’s a bit of a shame I’m off it this weekend, though, the wife’s away for the weekend, I could have been in bed, shitfaced, by now! :)

I usually do Sober October, and strangely, I’ve been looking forward to it, this year.

    So I’m in.

I’ve just checked back in my emails, I ordered from sharkclean.co.uk.

See fish n chips has been mentioned.

The other way to stop a car seeming in any way new and nice is to lend it to a surfer/windsurfer/kite surfer etc for a week or so. When it comes back the dominant smell will NOT be the “new car”
    smell (mostly wetsuit boots…)

Or, OP, if you fancy a more “meaty” odour, you can have a dog blanket out of the back of my “02 Golf..?

I used to be able to do quotes on here. 🤔

My Mk4 Golf petrol engine isn’t E10 compatible, so it looks like Premium for me.

Our first Bosch dishwasher lasted around 15 years, so when it died, we got another Bosch. Then, because we were impressed, we got a Bosch washing machine. It started getting noisy in January this year (at 23 months old), I rang AO customer services, who told me to call Bosch, an engineer came out and said it was the drum bearings, but “it’s a 2 man job, so can’t be done until after lockdown”. I spoke to Bosch CS again, they would neither replace the washer or loan us one to use until ours could be repaired.

I called AO again, who arranged a party call with Bosch CS, who still wouldn’t budge. After Bosch had left the call, AO offered to replace the washer themselves, with a machine of the same value. The AEG replacement is doing fine.

Next purchase won’t be a Bosch, but it’ll be from AO.

I got a Makita DLM432PT2 in the January sales this year. I would have thought that you’d need a bigger mower than that, but for our size lawns, it’s bang on.

I use 2″ wide Kinesio Tex Gold, about 3″ long, to cover mine. As Supadan says, it lasts for the life of the sensor.

I i was thinking about a bigger car, but it looks like I’ll be keeping hold of my ’02 plate Golf for a while longer.

We’re in a 4 bedroom house, built in 1997, still on the original system boiler. I too, don’t get the “hard work”  comment, the water heating comes on, on a timer(!) twice a day, an hour each time. We’ve never run out of hot water, but there’s only 2 of us (sometimes a house full, though).

The dear wife has been hankering after a new boiler, so it looks like I’ll be coughing up. It’ll be a system boiler for us again.

Cavendish is showing his experience. I hope he’s able to go the 3 weeks.

“having a go at the other teams,”

I think he may be playing the French audience.

Looks like my ’02 Mk4 Golf 1.6 is going on premium.

    Thanks OP.

    @pedlad

    Sorry, I missed your question.

I did a bit of a search on Google, couldn’t find the same type, so I just started taking it to bits.

    I used this

    https://www.screwfix.com/p/fitt-30m-heavy-braided-nts-wintech-hose/8902j

You’ll need a long bladed Philips screwdriver. I replaced the fancy hose clip on the inside with a jubilee clip, and treated the seals to some silicone grease as I rebuilt it.

I’ve had 3 Mpow ones for a couple of years . They’re great for most of the year. Don’t charge fully on the darker days of winter, though.

We’ve had a Hozelock one like this https://www.diy.com/departments/hozelock-wall-mounted-hose-pipe-set-l-40m/179633_BQ.prd for at least 15 years.

It’s been fine for us, though I’ve recently replaced the hose in it as the original one had started springing leaks (I suspect where it had been abused over the years). </span>

I used to have the problem with getting logged out time and again.

There’s a “delete cookies ” button on the login screen, after hitting that a few times, it worked.

About 10 years ago, I won a 19″ TV in the free draw at work. That was a surprise.

Back in the late 70s, one of my mates was on good terms with the manager at the nightclub we used to go to. They made a deal where my mate and I paid £50 each for our number to be drawn out for first prize in the raffle… A week in Faliraki!

I came to the same conclusion, about all the stock being sold during the lockdown and decent summer.
It looks like me paying rrp, at this time of year, for whatever we decide on.
It’ll be an online purchase, so potluck, with the stainless steel quality, I’m afraid. Although, I’m hopeful that the decent brands might use the better quality materials. 🙄

    Thread resurrection.
It’s that time of the year again, our 14 year old gas barbecue went to the tip at the back end of last year. It’s now time to buy another.
Looking at a Broil King Signet 340.
I assume it’s the wrong time of the year for deals? (I must’ve looked too late last autumn, as they all seemed to be out of stock).

Another 12v Bosch user here. As above, if you’re only going to be putting a few 7 or 8mm holes in masonry, it’ll be just the job. It’s also light and really easy to handle.

An ’02 plate Mk 4 Golf here, but with a 1.6 petrol engine.
My mum had had it from new, until 4 years ago, when I got it off her.
It usually shows 40 to 45 mpg, but I do drive like the 61 year old man I am.
I wouldn’t mind a dab radio in it, but that’s it.
    Cheap motoring.

Someone on here mentioned dried liver previously

I saw that, and have been cooking treats for our little cherub, since.
