The van looks great, well done.
That lawn needs a bit of work, though.

Me and Sparkyrhino off here went out for a bimble on Monday, I ended up with about 43 miles in, (Strava knocked itself off at 38.8), mostly bridleways and towpaths, but some singletrack (which had me grinning) and lanes.
I was on my Arkose 3, he was on his “new” Yeti (for about 30 miles).
I can’t imagine many fit-ish cyclists having any great problems doing 100 miles on any of the CX/commuter bikes available, if a fat, old bloke like me can tackle 43 miles on/off road without collapsing.

This might be an interesting programme but the background music is absolutely shocking, and so distracting!!! Not sure how much more of it I can take.

What did you have to say that for? It’s bugging me now.

Mmm, there was a fair bit of guitar, but a bit thin on riffs after the first ten minutes.
Some shocking performances, though. AC/DC taking the proverbial, ffs?

    “Caller’s identity will be displayed.”

The other one says “The following services are in operation . . . call diversion is in operation.” I don’t have a clue what that means. :?

I don’t mind giving it a try, if I think on.

This may not help you, sorry.

    What Nuke said.
I’ve been running tubeless for years, but earlier this year I couldn’t get a non UST Conti Rubber Queen to seat. A pop bottle, a couple of old tubes and a piece of my spare track pump hose. Sorted.

Jag61, the caravan’s due through 2 hours before the riders. You’re not allowed on the course approx 30 mins before they’re due.

    Stage 1: Aysgarth
Stage 2: Woodhead, we’re parking near Silkstone, going up from there on the road bikes. I think the roads’ll be closed to motors from Penistone onwards, so it’ll be a steady bimble up the hill(s).

I’ve had a couple of pairs of varifocals for 2 or 3 years, now. Much better than the bifocals I had before. I’ve started wearing them on the bike, too, but that’s mainly because I can’t be arsed putting my contacts in. I managed to get around Innerleithen xc in them, last week, so I’m managing quite well with them.

We’ve got three boys, Joey, Archie and Colin. But you can call them Curly, Larry and Mo, they’ll only listen if there’s a reason to.
    Call yours Dick and Liddy.

I had the same problems with my Wingnut as Del. ^
The waist belt detached from the pockets, I got a cobbler to fix that, and the zip, which has been bust at one side for a while, gave up the ghost last week. As Del says, the best thing about it was the hip pocket, the rest of it wasn’t up to the job.
Got an Osprey Raptor today, it’s got the hip pockets plus a gazillion more for stuff to hide in. :?

You need sound proofing, by the sounds of it.
The traditional STW way of acquiring this, I believe, is to stop riding your bike and eat pies and chips. It worked for me, anyway.

I tried Sainsbury’s Taste The Difference extra dark with a portion of Jura. It made me drink faster!
There ought to be a warning on chocolate wrappers!

The old fashioned cycle computer spoke magnets are OK, if all you need is a dinky little magnet. They can also be used for getting the bits of Powerlink out of coffee jars half full of degreaser.

Edit: Forget this, they obviously won’t work through 20mm of table.

I’d have thought that if you’re just pulling iron filings about, the weak ones will be fine.
Getting them to stick on the fridge door might be a challenge, though.
Sorry, I’m not helping, am I?

Definitely chocolate. Pop a bit into your mouth, then take a sip of whiskey at the same time. Absolutely divine. It is the ultimate experience.

I’ll just finish this glass of Rioja.
Jura and chocolate? Are you sure?
